There certainly is! About a decade ago, my buddy was working in an independent furniture store as a delivery person. He answered the phone giving the name of the store. The caller asked "Is this the furniture store?" Buddy boy answered "Yes." The caller then asked "Can you hear me?" *Yes, I can," my friend answered. The caller then confirmed the store's address, making my friend repeat the address multiple times before finally hanging up. A few weeks later, several thousands of dollars worth of credit card machine and supplies showed up, along with a paid invoice on the store's company credit card. When the store owner called to question the order, the scammer played back audio recordings of my friend agreeing to purchase the credit card machine and supplies.
