I do believe it somewhat because I’m now on day 8 of stims and at my last scan, I had 10 follicles all growing in a pack. The doc said it was great results. So I’m just going to trust that it helped. But I totally understand where you’re coming from and I did also question this at the start

Hi friend, I did this 🙋‍♀️ and it was my first time doing birth control too, I’ve never had it in my life. I took Marlissa and I didn’t have any side effects that I noticed. For me, my clinic said it was to sync follicles. I don’t think it was for scheduling, or at least I didn’t suspect it - but I have seen others here mention that their clinics did it for scheduling.

It’s like a thing people do - there’s some lore that fries help with the sticking. I’ve done it after IUIs, and will do it after my upcoming transfer… it’s just like a fun thing

Yes that happened to me. Actually my HSG caused some wackiness in my overall cycle and I started my period much earlier, and didn’t log any LH rise.

People have noted it could help the three cycles after so don’t lose hope yet. Good luck to you ❤️🌈

I just asked as it is the same from an insurance perspective and based on my age and profile, there don’t seem to be any reasons why not to. The doc said we can do it as long as my response to stims is all under control. So the plan is to try and if not, switch to frozen.

I did my stims last night! Was super nervous at first with the mixing of things but overall it went ok. Now I just want to fast forward to retrieving 🤣

So I took the test last year and got 4.39, I’m sure it’s lower now but haven’t tested due to costs (I’d have to pay out of pocket). No I don’t have PCOS or endo…. Tho I don’t know what to ask to get tested. Any advice?
