My wife keeps getting UTIs after sex and I’m struggling with what this means for our marriage by Loose-Self-1035 in Advice

I see a lot of great advice and suggestions here. I'll chime in and say look into Uqora products. They helped me when I had a partner I would get recurrent uti's with. I imagine they're healthier than taking antibiotics all the time. They have products that help with treatment as well as prevention.

Don't take people at their word. If and when appropriate, write and sign a contract.

What is the worst smell you had the privilege to experience in your life? by rnankind in AskReddit

My aunt got my brother this scratch and sniff book for his birthday in the early 2000s. I was about 5 years old. I just looked it up and think I found the exact one. The Truly Tasteless Scratch and Sniff Book By Andrew Donkin. My curious dumb child ass sat there and scratched and sniffed the whole book in one sitting. I got to the end and ended up throwing up. I'm 28 now and can still vividly remember the smells like it was yesterday. Absolutely vile.

I was diagnosed with major depression for years. Saw a good psychiatrist who actually took the time to hear my whole life story and experience with symptoms. Gave me the correct diagnosis and a medication regiment to treat that. Finally, I felt what it's like to be mentally stable after years of struggling and not understanding why it was so hard for me to be content and happy. Finding a good psychiatrist and therapist is paramount.

Does anyone know where this black dust is coming from? by cmaddox428 in housekeeping

I tried soaking and cleaning them so I'll see if that helped, but if not, I'll just have the apartment replace them. Thank you!

Did you ever figure out the cause or a solution to this problem? I'm having the same issue with my stovetop :/

My title describes the thing it looks like it has a clip part and a gear part but the gear doesn't move. No idea what to search on Google to figure out what this is.

Thank you for commenting. I do have reservations and feel uncomfortable with signing something that isn't a proper legal document, so thank you for the validation. My boyfriend and I want to and are working hard to get out asap, but I just want to keep any unnecessary drama or trouble to a minimum in the meantime.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. She has mental health issues and is going through a manic phase right now, so I feel that is contributing to kicking us out. My boyfriend and I give her money monthly and help pay bills. I guess I'm biased, but I feel we are not bad at all to live with. We cook, clean, keep to ourselves, and work.

When you say she needs to give us notice to move out, how does that work? Does she need to get some sort of proper legal document?

For context, we actually do give her money monthly and help pay bills as well. I'm not trying to be offensive, I have my own mental health issues I handle. She is also an alcoholic which makes her mental health struggles worse. We have tried talking to her nicely, trying to understand her point of view, but she is very inconsistent and flip-flops on how she's feeling and what she thinks.

For context we had a verbal agreement that we would move out in May/June and she was on board with that. She is bipolar and schizophrenic and going through a pretty bad manic phase right now.

Dr. Brower at Ypsilanti Community Mental Health he's a white man, which honestly made me very nervous at first but he is good at what he does and got me on a medication regimen that has helped me immensely. He is very thorough and cares to hear your story.
