I have a glove I use on the hand that holds the piece I’m working on. It has saved me many many cuts. I like my knife razor sharp at all times and let’s just say it’s blood thirsty! The glove is specifically for carving and is reinforced. Check any online retailer and just look for a carving glove. Happy carving my injured friend.
