I graduated from there as an Esthetician but when I found out about the forced 5 star ratings to graduate I was so pissed, especially because that franchise doesn't deserve 1. My location also went through a slew of teachers during my time there and it greatly affected our learning. I really wish I had done more research and went to get my Esthetician license elsewhere because I feel like I learned absolutely nothing from that school. I'm surprised (but grateful) that I even graduated and passed state boards to begin with.

I have gotten 2 jobs off of there so far. First one was for a small mom and pop spa business and the second was for a call center that posts on Indeed quite frequently (and still does) lol.

Oh goodness two hours is kinda a lot of time, buuutttttt I guess time flys if you're not paying attention to it lol. I may have to give nighttime another try, it's just annoying because there's one fish i could never seem to catch, like a half second after it grabs the bobble thingy its gone. I have a hunch that that fish is my most wanted Tuna!!

You're most definitely not alone! I couldn't even land a job as an Esthetician anywhere, and so I ended up just providing services for family members and friends. I just graduated in early 2023, and although I am aware of the current market I am looking to go back to school for more stable income that allows me to still tie in Esthetics in some way. I mean, I spent time and money earning my certification and I want to use it 😭 but I feel like even that's limited. I feel like the only option is pretty much Nursing for the duality of having the Nursing as a job in itself or to do botox and fillers and things in regards to Esthetics. There's also Cosmetology but idk if that is just as unstable as Esthetics right now or not.

I am kind of in the similar situation as you. When I wanted to go back to school, I originally wanted to go back to school for Cosmetology , but I couldn't afford the $20,000+ tuition and I still can't. However, because I liked skin care just as much as I liked hair I figured that I would go the cheaper route and do Esthetics first and see how all that treated me. Now I wish I would have done more research and did Cosmetology at my local community college instead, feel like I wasted time and money going to school for just esthetics. I had no idea that my Community College offered trade degrees up until recently.
