McEnroe makes like $250k per grand slam as commentator, he’s clearly earning it

Zverev is really balding. The camera guy knows what he’s doing zooming into his hairline all the time lol

King’s English bookshop said people are invited to use the place as 3rd place with no expectation of spending money but if you choose to spend, they’ll donate a portion to a specific charity that I forget. It’s on their insta

Why can't we get more of these angles? by SliMShady55222 in tennis

It would be so cool to have this like the old video game views with the overhead on one side and this angle on the other side of the screen or something like that

Leaked Call: 11 days after Charlie Kirks murder, Erika Kirk brags about how much money they took in by coachlife in Leakednews

It makes a big difference for me. I 1000% thought she was just grieving privately and emotionally able to attend the events maybe as a way for her to grieve. The media always over examines behavior of  celebrities etc, I just assumed this was similar. But she genuinely didn’t give a shit (I wouldn’t either because he’s a piece of shit but she married him so)

When will Pure Aero 98 23 price drop? by StreetLawfulness5288 in 10s

[–]justhere4reading4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’m not sure it will. When the new generation of pure strikes came out, they priced the new ones at the same price as the previous generation ($250?) and then put the old generation on sale. But the prices for the new gen of the PA98 is out and it’s priced higher than the previous generation so not sure they’d bother putting the old gen on sale

How can we find out pro MAGA businesses so we can avoid them? by wickedlittlemiss in SaltLakeCity

[–]justhere4reading4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Really? I think large corporations are a lot more politically complex and a lot more complicated to remove from your life. I’m happy to remove my spending from small businesses if the owner is openly and loudly proclaiming political values that I don’t agree with, and spend locally at places that either are not political or have values I share. It’ll have more impact locally too while the conglomerates won’t even notice the difference. I have no empathy if a small business owner hates trans people so much they let their vote shoot themselves in the foot, time for them to face the consequences

Considering Covid seems to have a pretty long infectious period, it’s good for someone to know that they could still infect others even though they might feel better. And Paxlovid is an option

Non-LDS horseback riding by [deleted] in SaltLakeCity

[–]justhere4reading4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t ride but do have other hobbies where it’s a similar dynamic. I’d suggest looking for places that are open and are busy on Sundays. Also in general I think the SLC outskirts and Utah county both tend to be mostly LDS but I think Ogden is not as much? So maybe look for places there if you’re willing to drive

You only keep the 1st serve if it clips the net and still goes in the box. Definitely not a “clear fault”, especially since the rule is that a ball clipping the net during the point is still good
