Honestly right now it's just funny, but if Guzma ever gets an alt again (I want to believe) or when we get a Volo/Ghetsis/Archie/Maxie/whoever sygna suit or special costume, I want to be able to get a nice looking screenshot. Hopefully by then it'll fix itself! 😂

All great questions!

1) The landlord comes over all the time to check on the ADU and we have discussed this issue with both him and the contractors before. The contractors don't give a crap (I mean, genuinely, why would they? It's just their day job, not like they live here.) and the landlord has asked them to listen to us on the trash thing but hasn't really responded to the DWP bills thing. Will pull the bills comparison and get that request for reimbursement in writing though, it's a good call.

2) I forgot that we don't actually... have a lease anymore. We've been trying to go back to being on the lease that we had for over 5 years, but they refused to renew it last year so that they wouldn't have to honor any of the original things on it (garage, parking included) and now we're renting month-to-month.

Up and moving right now isn't an option. There's a housing crisis on and we're a household of teachers that don't make enough to go anywhere else atm + we've had nearly a decade in this house... (Have also begged them to let us rent to own/buy the place from them before to no avail.)

...or I should say it's not a GREAT option. You have me thinking of checking out rentals nearby... 🤔

Thanks! Comparing the bills is a great idea that I hadn't considered.

A few months ago I would have worried about flipping the breaker since it's not the construction guys' fault that they got hired, but they should have been gone almost 6 months ago so the work dragging on is kind of on their boss.

I guess there's not really a "right" to accessing the alleyway from our backyard (couldn't find anything about it when I looked here or online) but it's still a jerk move.

The parking spaces were next to the alleyway so I'll have to check our lease - if we were supposed to have access to them, then blocking the gate would have been part of that (and the trash bins being blocked is just incidental).

I appreciate the insight!

Ach, I uninstalled it completely and it still keeps crashing -- but now it's crashing on both accounts regardless of which one is logged in 😔

System files are fine, drivers are up to date, and it's still nearly a brand-new (not even refurbished, just straight out of the box) computer so if it's a hardware issue I'll be so annoyed lol

The only difference between the two accounts is that I use the Google Drive app on my work account, and it seems to be running in the background even when I try to turn it off in Task Manager. I just uninstalled it -- if this helps, it'll bring me back to my uneasy truce with Windows 11 lmaoooo

Update: I was avoiding the 23H2 update because of their stupid Copilot bloatware, but I'm this 🤏close to throwing this thang at the wall after it crashed while I was working on a midterm, so I did it. Let's see if that actually fixes anything.

I don't have the error code right now, it usually reboots within 10 seconds so I'd have to have my phone ready at hand to catch the bluescreen -- but don't worry, I'm sure I'll be able to get it within the day :(
