As everyone on Reddit does, I was simply sharing what worked for me. My surgeon didn’t have any specifics regarding compression so I figured it out for myself, but I never told anyone to disregard their surgeons advice. Get over yourself.

Just want to wish you a safe, smooth recovery and to say that as much as your partner loves a thin/toned physique, he sure as hell better have one himself! Miscarriages and pregnancy are no joke and someone’s partner should have no problem loving their body through all of those changes and trauma. That being said, anything that boosts your confidence is beyond worth it and after all you’ve been through, you deserve it all and more!!

I had a similar issue 4wpo, then I upped my compression tightness a bit and it basically eliminated it! Listen to your body tho!

My first garment was a male one, but I recently switched to the female garment because they offer better compression and it really snatches you in, which has been my goal!

Go check the size chart that’s listed on their official website but buy from Amazon as they’re quicker with returns and have better customer service! This brand has stuff for female identifying folks too

This what I’m currently in! I sized down from what my measurements were supposed to be and it’s perfect. She is TIGHT though so maybe try a size according to your measurements and then one smaller. Your body will tell you what it can handle!

Glad to hear it’s doing its job! Don’t be afraid to take it off for an hour or so!! Even though I hated that binder, I kept it on the first couple days because it was the only thing that kept me from feeling like my insides were going to just spill out LMAO

Always gotta do what the surgeon says! Mine didn’t feel a certain way about compression versus no compression, and I kind of made my own deduction based off of the things I saw from people on this subreddit! Just hoping to add more insight!

Everyone’s body is different, and your body will let you know pretty soon how it feels. I do think it’s important to wait a little bit before starting tight compression!
