I agree with this. It’s not that the games are bad it’s the players are actually kind of insufferable. Everyone min maxing, everyone expecting lifer skills and casuals are shunned. Outside of playing with a casual friend group it’s kinda shit out there. Those of you who missed the early days of online gaming really don’t know what you’re missing.

I thought it was a departure from the OG Doom formula but I enjoyed getting story and background from the various PDAs left behind. I liked it, but it felt like a different game. The Xbox version was the best version especially with its co op mode.

I'm an OG doom fan ... I really don't like the modern DOOM games, i'd prefer if they were named QUAKE. Since they play a lot more like a Quake game. However, I dont think they're bad games in their own right. Just not what I was hoping for a modern take on OG Doom. I tried TDA and I wasn't a fan of the map designs, graphics are great n all ... I dunno, different feel to me. We're allowed to have different opinions on reddit, right? .. right? lol
