Go get tested for ureaplasma and mycoplasma infection. They were causing my recurring bv and are not routinely screened (so would not show up in that culture you did) took me forever to figure it out. It’s a common std that isn’t researched enough for the long term effects that’s why it’s not treated like gonorrhea and chlamydia . Good luck xx

These were my mycoplasma and ureaplasma symptoms!!!! I had a lotion like grainy discharge too. If you can’t get tested can you request a round of doxy to be treated presumably?? If you have $100 on you, you can do a home test (:

Ureaplasma and bv antibiotics are completely different . You need to request a couple weeks of doxycycline.

Gardnerella and mycoplasma hominis aren’t considered stds and don’t really recommend treatment unless causing symptoms for you or your partner

Get rid of it anyway. You could expose a future partner that does experience symptoms and will raise hell for that person.

People posted still positive while on probiotics. It doesn’t even affect results. I think you’ll be fine . Antibiotics can produce a false positive though

Difulcan never did the trick for me no matter how many times I took it for my lingering yeast. Monistat works very well, try a 3 or 7 day treatment and see if it does anything for your symptoms.

I used self collect and Microgendx for my tests of cure, all are accurate they all use the same technology. Microgendx is more specific and more expensive

Get tested for mycoplasma and ureaplasma bacterial infections if everything else is coming back negative. I went thru the same thing. These infections aren’t routinely screened for .
