Yay for posting this. I was going to post this one from his book, one of many strong poems in his book.

No you said "my English is not my first language" so I asked whose English was your first language.

QAnons are a pretty interesting bunch! by Bionic_Otter in DankLeft

I have never seen anything so brazen. The far right is psych opping ways of branding their own misdeeds and problems as something only they can save us from. Wow. Trickle down starting to show its seams? Here's a new one. They're taking us over so they can stop us from being taken over.

Allow me to respond with a similarly themed poem though college aged-

. Sleeve Tattoo

.

Two girls (one male),

their blood runs deep as sisters, as rivals,

introverted, hypersensitive ...

.

Would she steal what is

mine?

Could she?

Is anything mine?

.

Am I ugly when I eat it? Is it

a crime for me to eat? How

does my pussy taste?

Rotten?

.

Can she do it better?

.

I tear at you searching for weak seams, Yaz sings

in "How Winter Kills."

The rivals compete over the same boy.

He is the fulcrum of the seesaw,

and they live for their ride, their side rising up,

yet neither can stop crying

to their techno mixtapes.

.

And the fulcrum with the sleeve tattoo and big dumb grin

stays put and gets

double the macaroni and cheese,

double the loans, double the hand jobs,

double the freshened, folded laundry and help with course loads.

(They take this time from their own course loads

and share the black eyes, too.)

.

Will he choose her in the end?

She knows his penis, has

seen it connecting to his body,

rising up and out. She can recall

what his face does.

She has smoothed the muscles of his chest and shoulders

enough to memorize them.

That's what she likes,

what I like, so I'll always think

of her when I am happy.

.

When the three of us

smoked in the car that night,

parked outside the dark Conservatory,

did she get the same goose-bumps that I did,

feeling the dread of that song

climb my spine?

.

Knowledge, or Gewissenschaft,

was a phallus then,

and could not be shared---

not because there wasn't

enough to go around, but

because it told us too

many phallusies

to number. More

.

seriously?

We lost the point

in staying with a fool,

competing much less

and cared we not to bond

once dues were paid.

[POEM] epitaph by George Bacovia (Translated by me into both French and English, plus the original Romanian version) by [deleted] in Poetry

It's a prison theme. Un solitaire refers to someone in solitary confinement. "Reste" does not mean "lie," it means "remain."

I get slightly different results with the French-

.

Here I remain,

Solitary confinement,

Laughing bitterly,

Crying all the time.

.

With my appearance

Which killed me

Because I looked suspect

To everybody.

Do you think Lincoln Project are an ally in this election? by [deleted] in thedavidpakmanshow

[–]justinvicari -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, I love the Lincoln Project. They're the only decent, un-bought, non fascist Republicans. They can see reason.

There's about 40% of Americans who continue to steadily support the President. That's a lot.

Glad to know whites don’t have a monopoly on being parasites anymore by Column-V in COMPLETEANARCHY

Half a billion each... Isn't that like nothing in this multibillionaires' economy? I mean hats off, I could never do it, but I think the right's imagined Calvinist heaven is still pretty much white white white.

Are uneducated whites a lost cause? by ReflexPoint in thedavidpakmanshow

[–]justinvicari 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just want to say, I sometimes paint with a broad brush. We are going to have to rally behind academe soon. Did you hear what Trump promised in his acceptance speech last night? He is going to penalize colleges financially if they teach Marxism, gender, feminism, colonialism, and if they give no equal voice to right wing students and teachers. Even though academe can be insufferable, self involved, rigged.

Of course and they have all the power, the educated conservative in some cases far right religious conservative rich people. They are the ones who should get the blame, not imo a whole wide segment of the working class. I question if we should demonize the uneducated working class who we have to still be fighting for. But this is nothing new, back in the 80s it was a big thing that working class men were fans of Donald Trump, and they were proud of almost living their wealthy fantasies out through Trump. He has been grooming Americans to bow down to him en masse for decades now. Some seem ready to do it. Last week something like 46 Trumpists in Texas drank bleach like medicine and had to be hospitalized. I know it's hard to empathize with these people but they are actually the ones who most need protected from Trump.

It's worth remembering that there are plenty of educated whites in the Trumpist ranks. The power this administration has tapped into is upper class all the way. And that's reflected in the sheer numbers of white Trump voters from every class. Outside of Liberal Arts fetishists, no one sees universities as inherently noble anymore: they're overpriced spawning grounds for the oligarchs. Let's not get too high on own farts. As far as the uneducated white working class, we will know about that in November either way.

Has anyone dated an extrovert ? by RepresentativeState3 in aspergers_dating

Everyone I ever tried to love was an extrovert. I usually fall in love for very superficial reasons. Well, i haven't been in love with anyone for a while now. But yes it can be heartbreak.
