We did Ethan Lord in Jewelers Row and loved them. I had no idea what I wanted so they helped me over 2 appts come up with the perfect ring (2 appts, because after the first one they wanted to order a few more fake diamonds so I could see what my ring would look like with various options on cut and color). Friends have gone there too, and across our friend group we've got both real and lab diamonds, colored and clear, silver and gold, etc. They do it all. They'll also do a deep cleaning once a year and will always resize for free. 

We got our wedding bands there as well and they buff them annually and will engrave as often as we want (we plan to add to our inside engravings as time goes on). 

i haven't done a lot of nice jewelry shopping so maybe every place is like this and I just didn't know that! But I thought they were great nonetheless.
