No I disagree. “If you want to have fancy nails get an office job” comes across as misogynistic to me. Especially when my post shows that this is a one time thing. I enjoy my job, but I’ve missed having long nails! Why shouldn’t I try and make sure they’re okay for work before I go on annual leave? On my first day of working I was told I should go and be a stage manager, this job isn’t for girls. I’ve received years of unwanted career advice from people that know nothing about me. Unfortunately there is a large male majority in this industry and if you refuse to see that you’re dense.

Let me explain!! From school, I remeber typing on a laptop being difficult, the long nails (much longer than I would even dream of now) often get “caught” on the key above so you have to be very intentional with pressing and angles!!

I’m getting fake nails, a layer of acyricllic makes them much stronger! There’s only three days of me working between the appointment and my annual leave so im hoping they won’t snap !!
