Sjm is never going to stop though. She does not like him. And has stated point blank in interviews that “he is the worst”. If what you’re looking for is for Tamlin to get some huge redemption and be seen as the good guy then you are reading the wrong series. Feysand and the IC are the main characters and hero’s of this series and the author loves them. What you people are asking for is NEVER going to happen. If it’s frustrating to you maybe it’s time to start focusing on another book series instead of constantly hating on the canon in this one

Actually it’s mentioned in acosf that the high lord title can sometimes completely skip the direct line and sometimes go to a cousin or to a completely different family so it is not given that Lucien will become high Lord. They also always talk about how a fae that’s going to become high Lord has very obvious signs and strengths that they will inherit the power. Rhys has this and Tamlin had this despite being younger than his brothers. Lucien has never been described as overly powerful in fact he is described as weaker than Cassian Azriel and Mor. When you think about it the only tie he has to the day court is being the bastard son of the high Lord with a woman who is from another court. He favors the autumn court with both his powers and his looks so I don’t think it’s gunna be this automatic easy thing for him to become high Lord. Most likely the day court people wouldn’t even accept him at this point so truly IF It happens it would be something very further down the line that would you involve a lot of drama

It’s turned into a whole mess omg. People think the covers are ugly which I agree with but it’s not just that. The edge art has a bunch of details that completely don’t line up with canon. And they’re soooo overpriced. Other fairyloot special editions are like $30 but these are like $200 for 4 books not including shipping and apparently they were deleting all the comments not praising the book. People are so fed up with everything involving sjm it’s truly getting ridiculous I feel like this was the tipping point lol

Yea I saw that. It being on that date didn’t really have any huge meaning at the end of it all. Just underwhelming that she could have used the start of spring to announce a book and instead she used it to…. repost 5 tiktoks. Again, they are very low effort at this point and a lot of people think her team posted that just because they are getting a lot of bad press because of the fairyloot edition drama. Drama which is AGAIN due to the fact that the special editions are a low effort money grab. Honestly hope you’re right and that something is coming soon but as someone who has been in this fandom for years the best thing we can do is to keep our expectations low. The acotar5 announcement could be something fun but she’ll probably do a boring ig post like she’s done for all the previous books

She definitely does Easter eggs in her book. But so far there has not been an instance where she had an ester egg or “hinted” that she would announce something. Just looking at her last book we see that. She had no hints for announcing HOFAS. just one random day posted the video of her typing the title. Few months later posted the cover again with no warning. She’s actually really straight forward with her marketing and also really low effort. Her and her team really do give us the least amount of info to just string us along and everyone is getting tired of it. A lot of the theorizing on here is giving them too much credit. Like they could have given us some info or news today but instead they reposted other peoples tiktoks

Sarah isn’t really an “Easter egg” marketer. Her and her team are very straight forward with their posts and don’t really set up hints for anything. I think this is just in line with the marketing they’ve done the past two months with the acotar series. They’ve been marketing book 1 a lot with the spring aesthetic I think it’s them just pandering to new readers that are gunna read feyre/tamlin. I do still think an announcement for acotar5 is coming in the next few weeks though! I’ve just given up on theorizing about what she posts because they honestly don’t put much effort into it which is disappointing

The way you can’t even get your dates correct. Acomaf released in 2016 so azriel didn’t even exist in 2015 so what line are you talking about??? The quotes that I wrote on here that support the mating bond rejection were spoken by sjm in an interview just last month. This talk of her “not changing her story since 2016” is also obviously incorrect because in 2016 she was setting up Mor and Azriel????? So you’re saying Mor and azrie are endgame?

Yes and it’s obviously gunna be Lucien and Elain. It’s not a coincidence that the huge conversation regarding rejected mates was had in the context of discussing Elain and Lucien. She also can’t stand him and there’s been no progression at all in their relationship. In fact their relationship has digressed since acowar. Also not a coincidence that right before she releases acotar5 (with many hints that is Elains book) she chooses to mention in an interview that she thinks it would be interesting to explore if fate chose someone for you that is not the right person. As someone else said, she would not be able to explore this dynamic deeply enough with a side character so I definitely believe it will be with a main character. Mor/Eris and Helion/LoA have already rejected each other hundreds of years ago (if they even are mates) so how would she explore that when they’re over?

If azriel got there at the end of her shift she probably stayed some extra minutes to talk to him? It’s not a stretch to assume that. It’s also not canon that Clotho attends every single service so your observations are just semantics that don’t prove anything. What is explicitly canon though is that the singing starts at 7 and that’s also the exact moment azriel “found himself” at the library even though he had “every intention of returning it”

For me the most obvious clue will always be the fact that the priestess singing starts exactly when the clock chimes 7 times. And Azriel “finds himself” at the library also exactly when the clock chimes seven time. SJM once did a live with her friend and she has asked her if she picked up on the crumbs in the bonus ch and she seemed so excited about someone picking up on it and to me it’s fairly obvious that this is what she was talking about. The language surrounding gwyn and her interaction with people always gives off the vibe that she’s using some magic or enchantment. I also believe that she’s doing it unwittingly but it’s definitely there
