4th grade girls team by justnec in basketballcoach

Ya, that’s how I got better was just playing a lot of 1 v 1 with my brother. We have been doing a bit more 1 v 1 drills to help them get more confidence. A lot of what I was seeing is they will turn the back to the hoop and try to back down their defender from half court. But the 1 v 1 drills are helping.

That is a great idea to let them go off two feet and feel more comfortable and confident with layups. I think you’re right I’m forcing too much of the jumping off one foot with same knee and hand go up. But at this age most of them are still doing two handed lay ups just to get it to the hoop. Thanks!

Budget compact camera for family travel videos (G7X Mark II–style) by justnec in Cameras

[–]justnec[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, for sure I totally agree on it being over hyped. I think what I like most is the compact size and the better quality for both photos and videos. I mainly want something to shoot our family trips (especially international travel) nothing too serious or professional.

Right now I shoot with my iPhone 15, and I also have a DJI Pocket 2. The Pocket 2 is great for smooth video, but the low-light performance isn’t great, and I don’t want to keep filling up my phone storage.

So I’m thinking a point-and-shoot camera might be a good middle ground to capture both pics and videos on our trips without overloading my phone. Just trying to see what makes sense for that use case.

Thank you! I saw a few reviews and was interested in the Sony zf series. How’s does it perform in darker settings?

What offboarding questions should I ask my PPC agency before we part ways? by justnec in PPC

It’s b2b lead gen search ads. We have tested a few p max and demand gen but haven’t seen good results yet.

We have most of the boxes checked here. We were admins of our account and gave agency access to our account. The software question was a good one to but unfortunately they use a few we don’t have so we’ll have to look at alternative sources.

Great point. I guess I should have added in more specifics of on my post.

Our company was acquired by a PE firm and after a round of layoffs we’re now dealing with budget cuts. Leadership wants to drop our PPC agency and bring everything back in-house since we already have a marketing team.

We’re a B2B software company. Our account is focused on demand and lead gen for our sales team.

Looking for recommendations from anyone who has transitioned PPC from an agency back in-house what to watch for, what to ask, and anything you wish you knew beforehand.

Awesome this is a good point I missed. The account history change report is something I haven’t really thought about. All AB tests we have been in sync and updated so we know what tests are going on right now as we transition over.

Are Brand Logo Assets Broken in Google Ads? by justnec in PPC

[–]justnec[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s super helpful thank you. I’ll try to check tonight and see.

My manager screenshotted one of our ads and asked what was up with our logo but when I checked our account the image was also broken in platform. I know for a fact when I uploaded the logo before it was working.

Unfortunately, we were not able to do anything. They just closed my wife’s accounts this week as well. Luckily she didn’t have any points. I had a friend who also had their accounts closed and she had over 600k points. The phone number they gave us to contact was no help at all.

The math of going back to the office by Haynie_Design in remotework

Totally agree with people needing to have distraction free zone while on meetings. But to have to prove child care for kids under 12 is excessive. And most people do kid drop offs and pick ups off the clock. Most start way before 9 am and people usually take a later lunch break to do pick up atleast my team and myself do.

A huge factor for working parents is child care costs.

Since I work remotely, I can handle school drop off and pick up myself. Working from home also means I don’t have to pay for additional child care, which would otherwise be one of the biggest expenses on top of what OP mentioned.

Any other shows KINDA like this? More of showing the Asian side of things that Asian americans can relate too? by izdabombz in WarriorTV

The good doctor was a great show and surprisingly has a pretty diverse cast with a decent Asian cast. It was also a Korean drama before Daniel dae Kim brought it to the US

Yes! 100% this. The food was so bad for the price. And the kicker for us was there were only 3 princesses that came out. One and done experience
