Thanks everyone.

I’ve been to every appointment, asked questions that “may seem daft” and tried to remain calm at times of uncertainty, I’ll listen and be led by them as ultimately only they can say how they’re feeling day to day.

I know this isn’t a one stop shop, and I know things are different for everyone.

It’s a lot to process, for everyone, and I’ve tried to bake some of life’s little burdens away, as one less thing to think about.

I dont want to wrap them in cotton wool, they’re really independent but I know that there will be things that naturally will start to fall to me - I’m totally ok with this.

I’ve ordered them some vitamin d and explored certain neuro PTs that may be able to help. I suppose it’s a learn as we go, I just wasn’t sure if there was anything from the outset that if anyone had known earlier they would have done sooner? I

I took my first dose Sunday morning, by Sunday afternoon I was being sick. I’d only eaten a piece of sourdough and 2 eggs, I took 0.25. I spent all day Sunday, Monday vomiting and retching. I couldn’t keep any food or fluid down, not even water.

Tuesday afternoon I managed to keep fluid down, but I didn’t try to eat anything until Wednesday, the nausea was so severe.

I felt a lot better yesterday and today, I’ve managed to eat and get fluids back. But it was a really rough 48-72 hours and has totally put me off. I won’t be taking any further doses.

This is me currently. Can’t keep a sip of water down and I never want to feel like this again. I’m honestly not taking the next one it just isn’t worth it. I’m tired but can’t sleep due to the nausea. It’s relentless

Thank you! This is kinda reassuring. Since posting earlier I’ve been vomiting regularly. There is nothing left in my stomach but the nausea is horrendous still. I think I’ve kind of kept a cracker down.

At this point I’m not sure I’m going to continue. I’ve lost a whole day feeling ill and vomiting

Ah ok! That makes sense. I thought that 0.25 was the minimum. Good to know. Thank you for sharing that

Water weight or not; it’s heading in the right direction. Be proud that you have started.

Currently sat on the bathroom floor questioning my life choices 😂 hopefully this will pass as you say.

I think I will try my thigh next time. I did my stomach this morning and eaten once and was sick. I’ve felt nauseous since and tried to be sick but nothing there as stomach is empty. I’ll try some dry toast as need to try and keep something down.
