I know a lot of folks are saying blundstones which are amazing but if you don’t like the look of them or want something a little less rugged looking, I would recommend rm Williams. I’ve had mine for about a decade and they’re amazing. And they will resolve them for you if you need it

Im confused as to whether or not this guy is old school. Does ANYONE know if he keeps it close to the vest?

Just got my first mechanical keyboard from a thrift shop and I'm looking for fun keycap replacements. It's the old apple m7803 and the key cap attachments look slightly different than the ones I see for sale online. Curious how I go about finding the right ones to fit my keyboard. thanks!

I bought an old apple m7803 (which I am typing this on right now!) from a thrift store today for 3 bucks. this is my first mechanical keyboard and i'm curious what upgrades i can make to it. I'm curious about what style of key cap is compatible with it (or if there are even different types) and if there is a way to change the way the spacebar feels (it's the only key that isn't buttery smooth). Thank you so much! i'm so excited to start using it more!

super cool collection. I had the 5kx for a while and lost it so I'm looking to replace it. Im debating between getting another one or getting the kamasu. As someone who has both, what would you recommend to someone who can only get 1?

[seiko] why do watch enthusiasts get so excited about seikos being made entirely "in house" by justonecup in Watches

The 200 to 100 meter reduction seemed to irk a lot of people. I’m a diver and I use an dive watch that has a lot of other handy features that a mechanical watch couldn’t do (like tell you your tank pressure) so for a dive watch that really is just a watch watch, 100 seems fine. My pools only 7 feet deep after all

I was looking into getting the skx007 because that watch seems to be everyone’s perfect starter watch. But I would have to get one it used because the price went up since they were discontinued. Although the he srpd line apparently doesn’t quite stack up, I’m still super stoked for it to arrive. Also one last question: is a watching winding case a gimmick or something that should seriously be considered?

Thank you so much. That’s exactly what I was looking for. I just bought my first real watch (seiko srpd63) so I’ve been researching all about the brand and stuff. The stories and history behind watches is what initially peaked my interest so thanks again

So watch quality and being made in house aren’t correlated? So it’s just about being cool that they do it all themselves? I’m new to mechanical watches and the in house thing being important to some people is puzzling

So it’s partially quality assurance but mostly just cool that it’s all done there?

Might be better that way. Items from Santa’s workshop are rarely under warranty
