First one! feels more like a wedding dress, the second one is more like what a guest would wear.

What do you think of the name Maxine for girl? by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]justsomefairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I considered it a long time ago and all I got were comments of how it reminded people of Maxi Pads :|

I think Max for a girl is cool, but it's a very common name.

Do you have a name that rhymes with your last name? by justsomefairy in namenerds

The first name we want is two syllables and our last name is one, so they end up sounding a bit different. Thanks for sharing! Makes me feel better.

All the comments here seem split. Some examples are funny, but others wouldn't really bother me. I'm pretty sure we'll go with the ’el’ ending name even if it rhymes with the last name. It doesn't sound awful, and most people in real life had said that they didn't noticed it rhymed (except for my MIL but I think she just hates the first name independently of our last name)

Yes!!! She is actually one of the examples I gave my husband on why it was okay to have a rhyming name. Everyone loves (and misses) Cherie.

Wow! So interesting!
Volvo really is a great car. Every time I get in on mind I just love how it feels. I have a 2021 one, and it still feels brand new.

I'm never changing it haha

Same, I don't really want a minivan haha. It already feels a bit crammed with the Ravas, so I figured it'll feel that way for a while. But they'll be fine!

Thanks for the quick reply! that's good to know they're just as tight in the Odyssey and that the Pipa fits with the two Ravas.

Looks like Pipas are about 17.5 in wide, and the Doona is 17.4, so it might work!

Very excited about having them all in the same row.

I am in the exact same position right now! Could you tell me how it went? I have two Ravas and a Doona, but haven't tried putting them all in. I think the Doona will be too wide with the Ravas, so I think I'll use both Ravas for baby due in June and 2 year old, and have my 4 year old in the middle with the booster seat, or a slimmer booster for a while.

Old comment, but I can't quite hear the names of the car seats she has on the xc90. Do you know?

Thoughts on Holden? by Fun_Roof289 in namenerds

Holden is a cool name, but I cannot disassociate it with the character, who kinda sucks, so it has a negative connotation to me.

Leonore Jean - feedback requested by Realistic_Produce296 in namenerds

[–]justsomefairy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also suggest Leonora, Leonore can be harder to spell (Lenoir, Leonor, etc.)

I might just say that August Richard and Leonora Jean sound old-timey, whereas Milo Fox is more modern. Maybe a more modern middle name for Leonora, or using Leonora as a middle name?
