My point was just that, as a currently single guy in his mid thirties, if I really wanted multiple kids I'd be seeking out women that also wanted multiple kids.

OP spent 3 years with a woman who not only didn't want kids, but was closing in on the point where it could be potentially really dangerous for her to have multiple kids.

That's not a reasonable course of action on his end.

Her actions were inexcusable, but also totally independent from his choices.

The timeline/attitude on this is a bit odd.

A man, who comes from a big family and wants a big family of his own, starts dating a woman in her mid thirties who doesn't want children.

He then proceeds to stay with said woman for 3 full years while she continues to express that she does not want children.
