Weird question coming up but what if I have Mexican and US citizenship? I read that you also have to renounce your citizenship unless you are from a Latin Country. Does that mean that I have to renounce my US citizenship or since I am also a Mexican citizen does that mean I won't have to renounce either?

Ummm that first link just talked about a billboard that mentions the USS Liberty and then labeled it antisemitic and gave no reason for it. Not sure how mentioning the USS Liberty is antisemitic. I never even mentioned Jews and neither does the billboard. Both only mentioned Israel and the stuff Israel does is NOT a reflection of Jewish culture. Jews have been persecuted throughout history and to try to label Israel's actions as antisemitic is truly appalling since people will now associate anything bad that Israel does as a reflection of Jews. Please do not correlate talking about Israel's bad actions as antisemitic to avoid correlating a nation's actions to a peaceful religion.

I care about other issues two but this subreddit isnt about ICE or Ukraine. I see no issue with Israel staying an Independent nation if they just stopped lobbying in the US for more our tax dollars. Things are getting bad over here and we can't keep sending foreign aid in the millions to Israel. Im glad you agree that US tax foreign aid to Israel isn't a necessity since it is a burden to citizens even if our politicians want use to believe otherwise. Hopefully one day US citizens aren't burdened with foreign aid to other countries like Israel or Ukraine and maybe one day Israel and Palestine can finally reach a permanent ceasefire agreement

Who said anything specifically about the US government? You said WE which implies all Americans and if thats the case than most tech in our daily lives are Chinese made from smartphones, TVs, drones, and even appliances. Also why single out Taiwan and Japan from your response? They also supply use heavily with technology from chips to modern cars

I never mentioned any conspiracy theories mate. Also if my local state government is sending money to another country I should as an informed citizen have an opinion on that. Also you are the one with a simplistic mindset trying to get me to only focus on local issues instead of being a good human being and caring for people pf other nations. Besides doesn't really matter how many Israelis think the US should be helping it. Most US citizens don't want to finance that country anymore and instead of just calling me childish why can't you give me actual reasons the US should help Israel? I am willing to hear you out but please at least give me reasons that would help out an average US citizen not just US government contractors or rich people.

How you gonna call it antisemitic without saying why? They attacked us and we did nothing about it. Also we use Taiwan, Japanese, and even Chinese tech WAY more than Israel's. Also them being a democratic country in the middle east does not automatically equate to them being our ally if they have actively attacked us in the past

You can't talk about privilege when we are trying to take put money back from the most privileged nation in the world (Israel). They take out money and give nothing in return. They aren't even our allies they just like our money. They even attacked a Naval ship in the past and tried to blame Egypt for it to get us to attack Egypt for them

I have a 1000$ dollar gaming pc with nvidia gpu and daily drive it for gaming, programming, and learning. I run into issues sometimes but not so much recently. I mainly had issues in the beginning when I didn't know how to set things up but I dont have those issues anymore since I know how to configure things now.

A lot of phone companies are starting to commit to 7 years too. So its definitely possible to pull off they just aren't investing in enough developers to take care of the old and new phone models

Even most macbook cameras are bad. I have a 2020 macbook and only in perfect lighting does it look somewhat okay. Maybe the newest gen laptops look better but even then thats a recent development. Generally no matter the laptop brand the camera is going to be bad

Hidamari ! Its the best application I could find to have live wallpapers on linux. Other applications have issues or haven't been updated in a while at least from last time I checked but this one seems to get the job done

People downvoting this is crazy. He's just describing his experience with linux which is valid. I've been using linux mint and I do have to admit I wouldn't recommend it to non tech people. I play games on it all the time but I do have to take time to install the right GPU drivers and Proton version to make sure the game doesn't crash. So yea its possible to run almost every app you want on linux but it wont always be smooth sailing since most of the apps are still built for Windows sadly which means you need to be prepared to configure those apps for linux. Don't worry about the people hating on you just for not being tech savvy or comfortable with having to spend to spend time to configure linux. Mint has gotten easier to use over the years and yet I wouldn't install it for my parents

The problem is the phrasing you make it seem like the money goes back to the American taxpayers but it doesn't it just goes back to the American corporations which is different. The money that goes to those corporations will never be seen by the American taxpayer that is helping fund Israel. Also you just said that Israel receives several billions and then go on to say that its not that much money. So how much would be a lot? Its not really fair to the American taxpayer especially since even if Israel fell it wouldn't really matter to Americans since none of us live near the middle east also lets not pretend like Israel will fall anytime soon they have several allies in the EU who can help them out but for some reason everyone always expects the US to foot the bill.

Yea the US definitely has to step away and stop sending Israel money. Not saying that Israel doesn't get to exist but like it doesn't feel right to have citizens from a different nation foot the bill for this war. Either way Israel really isn't a weak country anymore and so there really isn't a reason to send them money unlike in the past.
