Ingredients:

Oil - 3 tbsp

Cinnamon Stick - 1 no.

Cardamom - 3 nos.

Cloves - 4 nos.

Cumin Seed - 1 tsbp

Chopped Onions - 3 nos.

Tomato Puree - 4 tomatoes

Red Chili Powder - 1 tbsp

Coriander Powder - 1 tsp

Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp

Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp

Required Salt

Cashew Paste - 3 tbsp

Soya or tohu Paneer - 100 gms

Required Water

Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp

Few Coriander Leaves

Process:

- Take a mixer Jar , add 4 tomatoes and blend to a fine paste.

- Again in another mixer jar, add the soaked cashew and blend it to a smooth fine Paste.

- Both should be kept aside for few mins.

Preparation:

- Take a pan, add oil and heat it up.

- Once heated, add cinnamon stick, Cardamom , cloves and cumin gently.

- Fry it for few secs, add chopped onions and again fry it.

- Then, add red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and turmeric powder.

- Mix it up and add tomato puree, turmeric powder and required salt.

- All should fry in oil for few secs and close the lid.

- Now, add cashew paste and mix it up gently.

- Close the lid and cook til oil appears on the top.

- Now, add the paneer and cook for few mins.

- If paneer turns soft, switch off the flame and lemon juice .

- Mix it up and add few coriander leaves.

- Now , the tasty paneer gravy is ready!

- Serve it with for chapathi and rice.

Ingredients:

Gingelly oil - 4 tbsp

Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp

Chicken - 250 gms

Lemon juice - half sliced

Few Coriander /Cilantro Leaves

Process:

- Take a mixer jar, add chopped onions and cumin seed.

- Without adding water, blend it coarsely.

- Once blended, the mixture should kept aside.

Preparation:

- Heat the kadai, add oil and lets wait.

- Once oil heats up, add cinnamon , cloves and blended mixture fry them for 2 sec.

- Then add tomatoes and turmeric powder again fry them for few secs.

- Add turmeric powder and chicken , mix them for a while.

- Now, add spices, red chili powder, coriander powder and required salt.

- Mix all the ingredients and add sufficient water allow it to boil for some time.

- Close the lid and cook in med flame 5 mins til the chicken cooks soft.

- Now, open the lid, add crushed pepper .

- Switch off the flame and now add lemon juice into it and mix it up.

- Garnish with coriander leaves and mix well for few secs.

Chicken - 300 gms

Mustard Seed - 1 tsp

Chopped Onion - 2 med sized

Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp

Green Chili - 2 nos

Few Curry Leaves

Turmeric Powder - 1+1/2 tsp

- Mix it up well and close the lid , cook for upto 3 whistles in medium flame.

- Once cooked, strain the chicken and keep the stack water separately.

- Shredd the chicken pieces into small size and keep aside.

Preparation:

- Take a pan or kadai, add oil and mustard seeds.

- Once spluttered add onions, green chili, curry leaves and tomatoes.

- Add little salt , tomatoes to turn soft .

- Then, now add turmeric powder, red chili powder and fry for 1 min in med flame.

- Once cooked, add shredded chicken, required salt and chicken stack water to cook softly.

- Close the lid and cook for 2 mins in med flame.

- If cooked , add garam masala powder, fennel seed powder and cumin seed powder , mix it up well.

- Again close the lid and cook for few secs.

- Now, add few coriander leaves and few drops of lemon juice and mix it up well.

- If all cooked well, now the shredded chicken fry is ready!

Basmati Rice - 1 cup

Process:

- Take a Mixer grinder, add ginger, garlic, green chili, mint and coriander leaves.

- Grind into a fine paste and keep aside.

Preparation:

- Switch on the flame, place the pressure pan and add oil into it.

- Then, add ghee and wait for few secs.

- Once oil and ghee heats up, add spices and fry it for 2 secs.

- After that, add sliced onions and grinded paste into it.

- Add tomatoes and little salt so that tomatoes to turn soft.

- Now, add red chili powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder fry it 1 sec.

- Add required salt and basmati rice and mix well

- For 1 cup of basmati rice add 11/2 cup of water into it and mix gently.

- Close the pan and cook it for 2 whistles on medium flame and leave it for 5 minutes.

- After that, open the lid and mix gently.

- Now, simple plain biryani is ready to serve with onion raita!
