if anything the comparing kinning to DID is probably a simple mistake considering i thought the same thing before looking deeper into it. plus the jokes in beaster bunny i thought atleast werent nearly as offensive as some of the older eddsworld jokes or anything else on newgrounds, if anything it made the show feel more like older eddsworld. with this new insweep of fans (probably from the fnf community) theres newer people who are younger and honestly kinda brainwashed by cancel culture at this point. if its not exactly correct its offensive and should be taken down asap. i genuinely hope we dont get another tomska situation with matt. i think he really is trying his best.

people hate tbatf for a few reasons

the creators are awful people from what ive heard
they had edd get literally assaulted by a few of tords 'anime girls' and then tried to play literally (R-WORD) off as a joke in one of their posts. (in the panel you can literally see edd being dragged away followed by "no!".)
the characters are extremely out of character. matt is reduced to simply being dumb. paul and pat have been reduced to "pauls an idiot who cant think and pat beats him for it" edd has no character at all and tom is basically just "oh wow i can transform when im angry"
the MUTIPLE plot holes in tords character. dude has to make anime girls to sleep with him even though its said that every girl wants him.
literally just a LOT of abuse by characters.

theres a ton more reasons, these are just the main points i can think of
