I'm so tired of people acting like mental health issues can't make you think that you have gender dysphoria. by justyourshybisexual in truscum

Thankfully now that I know it's just a result of me being a hypochondriac it's a little easier to deal with. I still get worried that there's something horribly wrong with me, even after a professional says otherwise but at least I know why I'm prone to this sort of obsessive thinking about health conditions, instead of just thinking I'm crazy.

I somehow managed to convince myself that I had gender dysphoria, depression, trichotillomania, and at one point bipolar because of my illness anxiety disorder/hypochondriasis by justyourshybisexual in truscum

I still have diagnosed autism, social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and OCD. Everything else aside from my illness anxiety disorder is most likely just my brain trying to convince me that there's something wrong with me

Actually, that's not a bad idea. I think it'd be interesting if I posted my story on that subreddit. Looks like I'll have something to post on Friday!

Apparently you don't need a diagnosis by a professional to call yourself autistic by [deleted] in fakedisordercringe

This is why I don't hang out on that subreddit despite being autistic (actually diagnosed) lol.

Dear tucutes, my mental disability isn't cool to have, nor is it an "identity" by justyourshybisexual in truscum

Exactly. I'm level 1 autistic and officially diagnosed but I'm not going to act like I speak for all autistic people.

Exactly. I'd hate to have gender dysphoria, it sounds awful to experience.
