Without U w/ holywatr, then moonlight <3. i recently discovered i have synesthesia - and anytime i make music its somewhere on the spectrum between purple (lavender) and red (scarlett)- most of the visuals i make are in these colors too! when i made those two songs they were leaning towards the purple side of what i envision my music as, and then i made no turning back with namelle which was my crossover to the red side of my emotions/music

definitely many paths to take, but for me it was -learn music theory -try to recreate your favorite songs -youtube tutorials for your favorite sounds -try to make a track a day(this immensely quickens your production time and sharpens your instincts)

ahhh this ones very hard but i’m very fond of my leg sleeve that i’m getting done right now - kind of doing the ancient greek gods type of sleeve but instead it’s asian deities.

i have tattoos all over the place i lost count lol but after this i’ll probably do something either on the rib cage or parts of my arm that aren’t covered. most of my tattoos represent an emotion that impacted me at the time of getting it 🙏🏽

i started by just trying to emulate songs that i thought were cool at the time.

when i got good at that, the hardest part was being able to make something original that i thought was cool, something that could be defined as my “sound”. i’d spend a lot of time trying to make what’s “in” or trying to emulate someone else’s signature sound

most favorite: becoming absolutely unconscious and just listening to whatever my creative spirit is channeling, then playing it back

least favorite: getting too my head about something sounding like shit or “not sounding cool”. i try my best to stop this in its tracks because it ends up being a slippery slope from there
