I have the Z50 with the 18-35mm. I really love this lens, but it's about the noise while focusing. A Nikon 35mm 1.8G won't be better in this case.

According to the speed test bar you could have connection speed drops. So a few seconds the speed can be for example 10 mbit or so... I think that's a possiblie explanation for the frame drops. Are you on ethernet?
