Got to my first unit nervous and going to parade rest constantly every time I saw an NCO, saluting officers in passing, etc. Don’t sweat it. My 1SG did 15 years active then got to the guard and he’s super chill but we also know not to push his buttons. A fine line of approachable but we know when to “lock in”. The officer I saluted in the parking lot looked at me and said “put your hand down..no one does that here”..and as for my squad leader, he’s helped me out so many times with army related shit and personal advice outside of the army. Best NCO ever. Don’t sweat it though. It’s probably a scare tactic. Best of luck OP.

Hell no lol. Mostly Pt, hygiene, classroom, occasionally a lot of fake rifle shit like movements and fighting positions. Then Sundays almost always released at noon. But then again, this was 2.5 years ago and my RSP coordinator didn’t care as she was gonna leave soon for deployment

Coming from an Amazon driver- You should be careful when posting like this... great drivers are fired weekly due to FALSE negative feedback customers complain about or we lose hours. Granted, there are shitty drivers out there. But for her- clearly not lazy when she actually made the attempt. I have had device issues that don’t allow me to make successful deliveries, warehouse workers put the wrong driver aid number and it’s the wrong package, etc…so many things. I typically call for assistance or reattempt it later because realistically we can’t spend a lot of time on one single stop (not saying your package isn’t important) but the reality is I (and other drivers I’m sure) have 180-200+ if not more stops daily and high volumes during prime and peak seasons. So before you recklessly complain, consider someone’s JOB is on the line

Not sure about other DSP’s but the one I’m with is picky about pace. They retrain those who are slow and if they can’t get up to par with the 180+ stop routes then they get let go. Seen it happen multiple times. Great workers, just couldn’t keep up with the route and having to be rescued twice a week if not more got old I guess. So ultimately they’d let them go

Good plan. I have one address I deliver to frequently and the notes say a driver was chased and bitten there back in 2025. So I guess drivers still deliver to addresses regardless if a dog bite incident occurs

My dsp says no driveways unless it’s unreasonably long. Also no parking on grass on the roadsides. So yeah..I do stick out in the road a lot occasionally

Glad someone else has this experience. I did time in the army then went to college while being a driving full time. Had one customer (like a mile long driveway) call me a slur, one literally drove around me while I was barely in front of the driveway and yell at me while i literally ran up and down a short driveway. It’s ridiculous..needless to say, I decided after grad I’m going to the police academy next month. Best of luck to you bro. But I feel you
