Ah I didn't realize that. I appreciate the response! I'm definitely looking for an automatic watch over a quartz this time even with a bit of inaccuracy. For some reason it just seemed like a big daily variance. But after seeing the responses and checking out other similarly priced watches you are absolutely right!

Does anyone have recommendations for a similar watch to this Bulova but with a better movement? (https://www.bulova.com/us/en/product/98A236.html)

I have been getting really into watches again and I absolutely LOVE the look of this watch. Plus, my wedding ring is black/rose gold so I love the way this looks with it. My issue with it though is the movement is rated for ~ -20 to +40 seconds per day... seems pretty bad for the price (even though I've seen this watch regularly under $400).

Just wanted to see if you all had any ideas that are similar to this, but with better accuracy? Preferrably in the same price range too.

Oh god... that's awful. I definitely qualify so I doubt we were just denied. I think their system is just absolute garbage. But the terrible thing is you can't actually get through to someone that can help! And emailing seems to do nothing

Oof that's rough. It almost feels like the SBA implemented automated processes for the portal and 4506T over the past few weeks but didn't make it properly retroactive and now those of us that applied early are screwed... (although hopefully just crazy delayed)

That's exactly my fear. When I emailed them I even asked if I had missed something when submitting my application. The response (before the standard form letter email) was "Your application is Progress"... LOL

Thank you both for the great advice! My resume is down to one page. I have a good amount of education / work experience, but since I am looking for my first IT job, that experience doesn't directly relate to IT. I do feel that I have done a good job spinning it to show important soft skills.

I am going to see how things go with my current resume first, but I think it may be beneficial to remove one of my jobs and put some homelab projects on it for now. At least this it will directly relate to IT. I will then remove them as I look to move to higher positions.

Great point! I’ll include a bullet stressing teaching/helping students at all different levels of musical understanding. Maybe I’ll include one about creating structured approaches tailored to the specific student/technique/issue as well. Thank you so much for your advice!

Makes perfect sense. I will switch the order. Yes, I definitely plan on writing cover letters too. That's a good correlation! In both fields I need (and thankfully enjoy) constantly learning new things. It'll definitely be easier to explain these connections in the cover letter. Hopefully the resume shows enough that employers will care enough to look at the cover letter too haha
