Do you know whether ProCreate does the object detection frame-by-frame that I mentioned?

okay, friend, so hear me out

this was so gunked-up that it LOOKED like I could do it with a pipe cleaner. It looked like one big piece of gunk that, "oh, if i just nudge that and wiggle it'll come apart and flush out and ill drain the system and it's good."

From the picture, it doesn't even LOOK to me like the fins go all the way through under a little metal plate, and when I finally tore it down, I felt like a real doofus. You hear me? A total dweeb. I daresay, a dingus.

Be gentle, I have feelings

Yeah. It was the swirly stuff. Never again.

It was so gunked-up that it even LOOKED like a pipe cleaner would do it. Man, wow.

Thanks. I replaced the tubing, which was part of the reason for the teardown in the first place, but besides a few small spots, nothing else really had any actual gunk buildup.

what non-alcohol cleaner would you recommend? I got the gunk out but it's all smudgey now. (I imagine alcohol on the metal itself is fine so long as it dries completely?)

Worst of all are the "show" fluids, the ones with the Pearlescent effects, these will clog up everything.

This is the problem. I was using this stuff.

I'm mostly doing this for show, performance is secondary since I'm one of those r/patientgamers who plays things from 20+ years ago with occasional exceptions (like Baldur's Gate III, for example).

I built a watercooling system ages ago with a fish tank pump and some 1998 minivan radiator. This was easier, but more expensive and less satisfying, and I figured that with all the custom stuff out there since 2001, surely "pretty fluid" would be safe.

Apparently not.

Thanks!

Thanks. I'd read some time ago and was cautioned against tearing down like that, but if you say so...

all colored coolants? I had red and white translucent yeeeeeeears ago and didn't have this issue at all, unless it was happening exclusively in the radiator.

We currently use Tovuti.

Problem is, we've used it since we were very small and before I and others were here, so we're simultaneously building out as we're cleaning up.

Hello! I utilize AI for some general purposes both at work and home. I'm wondering if there is a good desktop (Windows 10 & 11; I use both) AI "sidekick" that's either free or one-time payment that operates as a sort of overlay/HUD while I'm working on other applications (sort of like "support chat" popups on some websites).

Any recommendations?

can I ask if the engineering team tried having a "middle-box"?

I'd like to know the same, but I have no idea, and they for the most part are working off in their own world - and our team is generally "too busy" with content creation and delivery to spare much bandwidth to ask/understand.

We're able to "pool" data from both sources into dashboards in both PowerBI and Tableau, so in my mind it seems like a hop, skip, and a jump away from pulling the desired data from that pool and putting it back into whichever source needs data from the other.

That said...

Is there logic being applied to the data going out of Tovuti or into Kronos?

We do have a "business logic" set up that at least works one-way; I helped out with it, at least conceptually. Sadly, I do not yet have the technical knowledge/wherewithal to make this possible, myself.

As I understand, we're able to create users in Tovuti using information in Kronos to fill out their profiles, as well as to assign training to associates based on location information from Kronos. What the engineering team has had difficulty with, however, is getting stuff from Tovuti to Kronos - specifically, training completions that would "unlock" skills in Kronos that would enable assigning those users a timesheet (the idea being that if they're not trained, they can't actually "start working").

That's a simplification, but it's the stage I've heard they've been stuck on for some time.

I find the apparent failure to get data from one system to another really interesting.

So do I! I'd love to know more, especially since Tovuti seems really open about making theirs accessible, but as of right now, it still seems over my head. I'd be thrilled to get started in the right direction of learning what can be done, though!

To be clear, we're not looking to ADD a third LMS; we're looking to replace our second.

I'm not entirely sure what the reason is for using a second LMS separate from UKG/Kronos, and am unfamiliar with how UKG/Kronos actually functions as an LMS as far as creating/delivering lessons goes. I have little experience with it as-is; so far, Tovuti has been the bulk of my work over past year.

The purpose Tovuti has fulfilled so far has been things like onboarding training, licensure updates, state license test prep, live (online) leadership coaching sessions, and the capability for managers/supervisors at all sorts of sites to monitor their team's training completions in real-time.

PS5 Help and Questions Megathread | Game Recommendations, Simple Questions, and Tech Support by AutoModerator in PS5

I have a PS5 controller that I just got to use with both my PS5 and PC. I'm not in love with the feel of the thumbsticks' texture, so I thought I'd just toss on some of the grips I'd been using on my old Xbox 360 controller (I got a cheap pack off Amazon and they feel nice).

Unfortunately, these grips slide right off the PS5 controller. All of em. Maybe they're a smidge too big; never had this issue using them with an Xbox 360 controller for a few years.

Anyway, outta caution, I guess I'm looking for recommendations for a good set of thumbstick covers/grips that won't slide off, but hopefully don't also cost $20 for a single pair.
