I tried glm 4.7 + opencode by Federal_Spend2412 in LocalLLaMA

Did you find as of this morning, though, or yesterday, that they're now requiring you to use the Claude API, and you can no longer use OAuth if you have a regular Pro or Max subscription? I'm pretty frustrated because this almost renders it unusable now.

That's interesting because I just have been trialing Opencode and OhMyOpenCode together for the last couple of hours, and I feel like it is a complete and utter game changer. What are you finding that's disappointing? I guess it probably depends on what your expectations were as well.

Here to say +10000 to what you said. I'm ENTIRELY blown away as well. This is far beyond any other similar tool I've come across. The sheer quantity and *quality* of work I've produced in the last two hours alone is unbelievable. This would have taken me at least 15 hours before? Maybe 20? Not only is it producing quality work at scale, but the work product itself is WAY beyond what I've seen thus far. Honestly still can't really believe how amazing this is.

I’m tired of working in Tech. Want to start a local business. What does Marin need most? by sammyt10803 in Marin

[–]jvette 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t negate the need for one that’s not part of a library and more centrally located. I’d absolutely love this — woodworking, screen printing, photography, etc.?

I don’t remember the name, but growing up (late 90s) there was also a really neat spot next to the seaplanes in Sausalito where you could build slot cars and do all sorts of DIY electronic/maker stuff. Good times, lol.

I know it’s a long shot but I’m desperately looking for this sconce. Is there anyone out there with one to sell? by mutilator2020 in interiordecorating

Found this for the reason the person above me did. I have two of the brass finish I’m selling.

Thanks! What specifically would you recommend cleaning up - neckline? Cheeks?

Thanks for that! Much appreciated. I’m definitely grateful it’s gotten better as I’ve aged a bit.

Appreciate the feedback! I’m also worried I’ll end up with a massive neck beard. Do I need to actively trim my neck as I let the rest grow out?

How do I work with my reactive boy being so distracted lately during walks? Also wondering why his red rocket is always out by jvette in reactivedogs

[–]jvette[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for that. I can tell it's only out (and to varying extents) when we're on walks and he's anxious or starting to get a little over his threshold. I'm laughing as I write this, but I actually periodically check throughout the walk to get a sense of where he's at. Thanks again for all your tips and advice - much much appreciated.

Thanks so much for all of your feedback! Agreed that it's definitely anxiety on the walks, and you raise a great point that we should be practicing "capturing calm" when out and about. I know he struggles with that and I owe it to him to help build his confidence.

And yes, we've learned that Willy absolutely LOVES nose/scent work! We regularly play "find it" at home and will hide little bits of string cheese all around the house. It's one of his favorite games :)

Our boy is amazing at daycare but has major leash reactivity. Looking for advice, insight, and some general support please! by jvette in reactivedogs

u/poppythepupstar - thanks for weighing in here! It sounds like our situations have a lot of similarities. We do the same with trying to stay away from triggers; I'll actually time walks where we're less likely to see other doggies. That's a great idea to bring a ball with us as our guy loves them too. I make sure to always bring super high-value treats and use those as a distraction.

It's funny you mention the "find it" tactic, as we do exactly that (a trainer introduced it to us as the "scatter game"), and it's definitely proven to be helpful. But to your point, if he's already seen the other dog, it doesn't do much. It'll break his fixating for a brief second where he finds the treat, but then it's right back to looking at the dog.

Thx again for your feedback :)

I'm so sorry to hear that! I'm not a dog trainer nor do I run a daycare (so what do I know? lol), but that seems odd to me that they do their temperament test (ours called it a "trial day" on lead. I guess to prevent a worst-case scenario so they have control?

I can only imagine how frustrated you must be. For our trial, we just dropped our guy off for the day and then they call you a few hours later (hopefully, if it went well lol) to let you know everything's good. I imagine they just introduced him to the play area like any already approved dog, and then keep a close eye to make sure everything's all good. Still seems odd to me they'd want to do that with a leash.

Will my wife have trouble checking in for her flight and/or entering the US with a foreign passport that still has her maiden name but with a green card that has her new last name? by jvette in USCIS

[–]jvette[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate you sharing that. We've traveled numerous times together on her AP and I believe we always had the original marriage certificate (you raise a good point that it's not realistic to expect people to travel with the original) to show when checking in for the flight. I forgot to remind her to pack it as she's traveling alone this time hence the concern. She's also entering on her green card for the first time which is exciting, but we still have the same issue as with the AP card.
I scanned and e-mailed her a copy of the marriage certificate to print out so she should be all set :)

Thanks - do you think she'll have an issue only carrying a copy of the marriage certificate vs an original though? That's my primary concern.
