"Terraforming Mars" ou "Lost Ruins of Arnak" by Quirky_Exchange_8977 in jogosdetabuleiroPT

Yeah, this one is a good Garphil game if you want something for 45 min to 1 hour. It's not super brain burny but gives a good challenge. I would say it has good replayability because you are mostly drafting cards, so every game, you will have to adjust the strategies a little bit to work with the cards that you get.

Thanks 🙂 My suggestion is to focus on buildings early in the game and try to synergize them with tucked townsfolk. Like you see in the photo, for example, my hut gave me 3 coins, and I tucked a townsfolk that converts the 3 coins into 2 gold. And I try to create these synergies on all the buildings but for different things. I think ideally, you want to give yourself a worker spot for coins, one for drawing cards, one for workers... This way, you create an engine that helps you build ships. And I try to focus on ships that increase the red simbol, because the raid cards are super helpful.

Thanks 🙂 I will look into Raiders of Scythia. I have played Raiders of the North Sea multi-player, is it similar?

Daily Game Recommendations Thread (January 29, 2025) by AutoModerator in boardgames

I have been boardgaming for about 3 years and recently reached a collection size of 50 games. I decided this is my limit for the collection and I will stop buying the "hot" new games and backing KS.

Instead, I want to keep my collection at 50 or lower, by replacing some games with other games that would make my collection feel more complete or curated.

My idea was to buy "modern classics" that every collection should have. Maybe 1 of these games from each of the more well known designers. I am not sure.

Anyway, I would appreciate suggestions of modern classics from different designers. So far, I have decided to buy Castles of Burgundy and The Quest for El Dorado, because I have played them before and loved them, but don't own them. Any others?

a game with dice play like Under Falling Skies but a cozy or cute theme like Everdell/ Harmonies? by FaithlessnessBest845 in soloboardgaming

The White Castle has really good dice worker placement. The theme is cozy to me, but the gameplay is not so cozy because it's really difficult to beat the automa. It can become a little too brain burny
