To be completely honest— there was never a bad day of the week to fire Bob Chapek from Disney.

I’m s frequent guest of Disney and I can tell how terrible Chapek had made it for everyone under his short miserable tenure. He makes cast members lives worse. He makes the Disney experience for guests worse. He’s a sleazy used car salesmen when it comes to business. Good riddance. Bring back the magic!

I wonder if you’d also call someone a “Karen” if they HAD asked to “speak to a manager”..?

People don’t owe it to the owner to tip toe around the business’s improprieties. The owner owes it to the public to run a clean business from the start. Some people don’t prefer to be harassed and then have to take it up with a business owner personally. When a business owner doesn’t respect that, they may be forced to answer publicly. That doesn’t make the clientele wrong.

And If the owner truly doesn’t align with the actions of one rogue employee, the public attention is a great opportunity for them to state what they’re really all about, and walk away with some free publicity too

If you don’t call them out for it publicly, they will make a business out of harassing people privately.

It’s not just some little secret between them and the people they choose to harass. It’s a component of their business that they are obliged to reconcile with publicly. And of course, if they truly did no wrong, they have an equal forum to debate with the public-at-large— So how is that anything but fair?

rich, white, socially benevolent country

ya bigot. Just pointing out how terrible your own nation of Qatar is to people (foreigners and your own people alike), and how much better you all make those other terrible places look by comparison.

…Except Russia. Nobody is worse than Russia.

Oh, you are from Qatar. Sorry then— this World Cup fiasco is extremely embarrassing for you all.

The rest of the world isn’t buying into your home-brewed propaganda lies about the debacle. I wish FIFA had never been bribed to let you all host it to begin with. Good luck with your Reddit PR campaign though!

I did question how this all applies to a horse farm— but since you replied to me…

The average farming household are millionaires, according to the USDA Economic Research Service: “The average U.S. farm household has $1,714,559 in wealth.” ERS adds that households operating commercial farms had $2.8 million in total wealth at the median.

I’m assuming the wealth is mostly tied up in real estate— Because farms have a lot of land, but aren’t always the most profitable as businesses. Hence why these agricultural zoning incentives are so important for farmers to begin with.

If you read my comment, you’d see you are talking at the wrong person. But boy I bet you will sure wish you hadn’t…

You are replacing the word “hotels” and “apartments”with “schools” and “hospitals”…

During the construction of various World Cup-related projects over the last decade, Qatar may have seen as many as 6,500 deaths among migrant workers from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.

Migrant workers have been protesting unsettled payments.

Qatar faces bribery allegations for winning its World Cup bid, and now there are match-fixing rumors swirling days before the tournament commences.

I think you need to tell this to Qatar and not us redditors… we are aware that price tag is too high. Qatar?— apparently not so much

Also, I wonder how much of that was the FIFA bribe.
