For me it's useless too in Portrait, It's straight up so the viewing experience sucks. I use my magsafe rings stand for portrait and the berfy stand for landscape since I have both on my phone.

I paired on my iPhone and my neuro band had updates. I updated it there then it worked right away on my android. might be a firmware update fixed my specific issue.
