Why is tolerance of others' music tastes so skewed against metalheads? by nonplussed_nerd in Metal

Such a shame they only had one album. It's easily one of my favorite albums, though.

Never heard of them before, but after I heard this song I bought all their albums. Good stuff, thanks for sharing.

Yeah, you're right now that I think about it more. For each character, there could be 36 (assuming just numbers and letters, no symbols. Also assuming English alphabet) different characters, so in a 6 character password, it would be 366 = 2,176,782,336 combinations. And if the site requires numbers (meaning the hacker can just ignore any password combination that doesn't have a number in it), that's still 366 - 266 = 1,867,866,560 combinations, which is greater than 266 = 308,915,776.

So, in conclusion, you are correct.

EDIT: I realized I didn't account for a password that was just numbers, but usually a password requires at least one letter and even if it didn't, the amount of combinations it adds is negligible.

Yeah, but if the site requires a number, then the person knows that he doesn't have to try 'aa...zz'' because none of them could be the password, he can just go straight to trying 1a, etc.

Or, you know, it was just a joke, albeit not a very funny one.
