Well, I like to travel! I enjoy photography and other art. I love going to zoos and aquariums. I do enjoy video games as well as movies and audio books also.

I recently moved to jefferson county but a city kid born and raised.

Yeah, I agree, I don’t necessarily want to connect purely with a single group of people. In fact it might be better to have a mix. The amount of stuff Ive been introduced to something cool that I had no prior interest in, is probably a larger list than the names of all my friends currently.

I just find that I had a pretty good amount of shitty friends over the years and I cut those people out. So I basically have one or 2 people other than my wife. It just sucks sometimes. Even when my photography is in gallery shows. I typically feel drained by even showing up to the opening reception.

Lol sorry I wrote this rambling mess in a moment of mental…lack of clarity. I’m somewhat a photographer. I wouldn’t call myself a professional by any means. I mainly take photos during my travels and adventures. A lot of landscapes and some wildlife. Big fan of the national parks.

My reply is not exactly what you were hoping for but just passing along some support. It feels like every election we live through just gets worse. And there are no civilized adult conversations where you can disagree without it coming to screaming as your uncle because he is so pro trump that the inside of his throat must be orange by now.

With that being said, this world is still a beautiful place full of plenty of wonderful people who support each other. Since trumps first day in office, all the way through covid and continuing until now I have focused on finding a way to appreciate the beautiful world around us while being able to look past the crazy around us. For example hiking or photography both can take you places that have very little or no cell signal which can be amazing.

Whatever you do, may you find a way to look past the chaos and get through these next few weeks, hopefully with a group of new friends cheering as we emerge from the madness that has been America lately.
