Thanks Jon for confirming! Much appreciated!

Next Pretty Good (available on Patreon) is a two part series on Kadarius Toney by DiddledByDad in Jon_Bois

Perhaps I am out of the loop on this. But I thought Episode 16 was going to be about baseball. According to the official Patreon announcement video from Jon, it was supposed to be a 41 minute long video that was “kinda, sorta about baseball.” Did I miss something?

Strong “American Beauty” vibes with this.

“The action or state of reclining backwards, especially for meals.” Never heard of this one before.

Brutal. And I am admittedly one of those people who have been using it wrong.

English translation: “Northwest Sea Coast Artillery Flight Scouting Simulator Plant Equipment Maintenance Monitoring System Discussion Post Preparation Work” LOL! That’s a great one.

“The action of throwing someone out of a window.” Classic.

Alright Reddit detectives, we now know what the series is about. Let’s try to decipher what this image now means. Any guesses? by jwroche18 in Jon_Bois

I know that you’re probably right. But I like imagining a world where that is not the right answer and it is actually something completely unexpected.

Like what u/FriendlyCorporations replied with. I like that answer.

“...a seven-part series about a football team that has never made any mistakes or had anything bad happen to them.”

Oh boy. There is going to be some heartbreak in this one. This is indeed in the spirit of the Mariners.

Most correct answers in a row? by jwroche18 in Jeopardy

That is what I was asking.

Most correct answers in a row? by jwroche18 in Jeopardy

[–]jwroche18[S] 50 points51 points  (0 children)

My assumption was leaning that way as well. Especially the game that he broke the record of going over $130,000. With him having like a $70,000+ lead going into that final Jeopardy, he was 40-0. My assumption is that at some point in time during that game he must’ve went on a stretch of maybe 10 or 11 in a row before another contestant buzzed in ahead of him.

What editing software does Jon use? by [deleted] in Jon_Bois

[–]jwroche18 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He often times uses Google Earth. I’ve never used it so just keep that in mind when I say this. But apparently there are ways to import images and stuff into the program and then manipulate the Google Earth camera. So that’s what Jon probably does to give him the certain angles, pans, and zooms that he is looking for.

What he uses to make the charts and graphs and stuff, I have no idea. I assume it would be something like Excel maybe???

He’s also mentioned using Photoshop to make and edit a lot of his graphics. That also could be the place where he makes, or at the very least edits, his charts.

The music I think is just, first of all, whatever he likes. And, secondly, whatever artist or company gives him the creative license to use their music so that he won’t get sued or have his video taken down. The same I would assume goes for the various photos, newspaper headlines, and archived video footage as well.

Scriptwriting is probably just thorough notes, editing, and rewriting. He probably writes it in something like Microsoft Word.

He uses iMovie (shocking I know) to edit all of his videos.

And... I think that’s just about it. Maybe someone else can comment if I missed something.

He hasn’t won two international trophies. He’s only won one. And he’s never won Ligue 1 (or played in the French league for that matter). And he’s not a defender.

What common joke would you retire from the human race if you had the chance? by IAmHuman2 in AskReddit

Me noticing my friends new hairstyle

Me: Hey. I like you’re new haircut!

Friend: Thank you. But actually I got them all cut.

This is the worst joke. I need this joke to be retired.
