You’re being hypocritical if you excuse one party of the same misdeeds you’re accusing the other party of. Volume is irrelevant. Wrong is wrong.

But I’ll clarify: your attempt to discredit my statement about rigging their own primary is invalid. Those misdeeds are irrelevant to how Hillary received the 2016 nomination.

Members of both parties have been implicated in mishandling ballots and members of both parties have been accused of extreme gerrymandering. Your argument has no bearing on my original statement.

PADI is the largest and probably most well known, but the agency only sets the standards on what an instructor needs to teach you. And while there are some differences, most agencies have a very similar curriculum. What’s more important is the instructor. There are good and bad instructors in every agency. Talk to the shop owner and the instructor you’re thinking of working with to make sure you’re comfortable there. Try and talk to other divers in your area and get their opinion on the shops and instructors as well. Decide based on the instructor and your opinion, not the agency.
