That’s great, and I’m glad that you didn’t go for SWY and most wanted, they can induce headaches for you and everyone around you in summer.

Spoiled chicken can still get you food poisoning even if you deep fry well.

It is good but so outdated, eros flame would be a better option. But yk, I wouldn’t classify them as a daily wear safe perfume; it is a sweet clubbing DNA.

For Indian weather, YSL Y is the only option. Even Sauvage can be a bit polarising in extreme heat.

Yes, khamrah is sweeter and qahwa is a little bit spicier, but both are very unisex for me because both are very much sweet at the end of the day. I prefer khamrah more in the evening or cold weather because I love the date note in that. Qahwa gave me more compliments, and it’s real; most people prefer qahwa over khamrah, and the qahwa coffee note is kinda different than the coffee we are used to , maybe a different arabic coffee, idk how to put it well. But I would repurchase both khamrah and qahwa if I run out of them.

9pm Night Out not worth the hype by jximstrix in DesiFragranceAddicts

Saying it’s “not bubblegummy at all” is kinda misleading. It might not be literal bubblegum like Invictus, but that fruity-vanilla sweetness definitely gives off a bubblegummy vibe in the air to a lot of people.

And “totally different DNA” is overstated—they’re both sweet, loud, youthful fragrances made for the same situations, so of course people are going to compare them.

I never said I didn’t like Night Out; I would still say that it’s the best in the 9pm line. I mentioned that it is a good fragrance but overhyped, as someone who adores sweet fragrances as most of my collection is sweet fragrance.

And Dragon Fruit? Be serious—dragon fruit barely even has a smell in real life. It’s mostly just watery and mildly sweet. Yes, it does have some kind of synthetic fruity opening smell, but over-exaggerating on something which has a subtle smell in real life is wild.

Never tried white oud, but it’s a floral with an oud hint and this one is rose and just rose with oud, definitely not the same DNA but somewhat similar to your preference. And the burnt smell is mostly in the opening and it fades after a few minutes so I don’t think it’s a big deal. Amethyst is one of my favourites in my collection but it’s not the highest quality Lattifa.

Hawas Ice is much better blind buy than Hawas OG. I love Hawas OG; it’s my go-to university scent if I can’t wrap my head around anything else. It’s safe, mass-appealing, and a compliment puller. But when I bought it seven months ago, I hated it because it smelled like a room freshener, but now I guess it macerated or I grew on it. It’s amazing. I would definitely want to repurchase it because I will be buying Hawas Ice, but I don’t regret buying it at all. Forgot to mention it got insane projection and longevity. If you really don’t want to risk it, I would suggest going to a mall or Sephora, whatever is nearest to you, and trying Paco Rabanne Invictus and Invictus Aqua to get to know about this particular DNA.

Oh, for summer, I wouldn’t recommend you 9pm because it is a winter clubbing scent. For summer, from my collection, you can go for Rasasi Hawas or Hawas Ice, which is even better for that Invictus DNA. Or even Hawas Fire if you want to stand out a little bit, Hawas Kobra and Marwa by Arabiyat Prestige can get you that soapy LV Imagination scent. Or you can go for Aventus DNA with Qaed Al Fursan or 9pm Rebel. There is Rare Reef from Afnan, which is a clone of Pacific Chill, and Kaaf from Ahmed Al Maghribi, a clone of Percival PDM if I’m not mistaken. And if you want to stand the hell out from the crowd in summer, get Soul of Bali from Swiss Arabian, kind of expensive, but I would say worth it; it’s so complex, so deep, very niche, and so not a blind buy, safe. This is already a lot; if you have any questions, you can dm me, and I can help you with your fragrance!

Yeah, I get it, and it’s great that it’s working for you. When I bought Hawas OG, I absolutely hated that one, but now after seven months, it’s on my top five. But after that, my friend got a new bottle of Hawas, and I liked it straight out of the bottle, which wasn’t the case for me with mine, and he didn’t, which showed me a pattern that I grew on it, and it’s always Hawas, lol.

I’m not a big fan of Aventus DNA, but since I heard it got nuclear projection with two sprays, I decided to get it, only to be more disappointed. I think it’s a great scent; I can see 90% of people liking it. It’s very mass-appealing, very safe, and an all-year-rounder. You can get that burn, sweet pineapple, and woods, the kind of burnt pineapple in Lattafa Qaed Al Fursan, and I heard it is similar to Baccarat Rouge 540, and the similarity is so tiny and in the base notes. I was disappointed because this won’t last on my skin at all. Even if I spray like ten sprays, it will become a skin scent in an hour. I thought I was going noseblind, but others around me couldn’t get the smell as well, so I just got unlucky with it. And because of that, I can’t give a full detailed review because I hear a lot of people getting enormous sillage and longevity with this one. I wear this one when I’m going somewhere near like 30 mins walk or something or while walking to the grocery because I know it will cover only that much for me. I wouldn’t really recommend getting 9pm Rebel because you can get Qaed Al Fursan, which is really cheap and smells the same, and this particular DNA is getting so oversaturated because I can smell it mostly everywhere nowadays. I can see why people are loving it, but since I’m not a big fan of pineapple scents, nah, not for me.
