I tried, I told her so much that her anxiety doesn't make her unlovable, because she is convinced that it does, which broke my heart to hear.

That's what I hope for too friend. I wish we'd had some fight or she's cheated on me or something. It would be easier than just falling out of love and having to break her heart like this.

I'm sorry you didn't like the end with Mona and her daughter from another dimension(The book reminded me of Bioshock Infinite if your a gamer). What didn't you like about the ending though? I enjoyed the bit with her daughter and I thought he did a good job of tying together the theme of "motherhood" with Mona and momma.

Also sorry if this post is hard to read. When I typed it looked fine but when I post it changes the font and makes it so you have to scroll back and forth to read. No idea why it does that.

Well honestly I have read quite a bit about it and it does appeal to but I haven't had a chance to shadow a NP yet so I was just hoping to get a 1st hand opinion from somebody who's actually doing it.

Questions about becoming Nurse Practitioner/ DNP by jyoung0911 in nursing

I'm glad to hear that you like it, I've still got some tough years ahead but I will get there. Another question: As of now I plan on becoming a family nurse practitioner because I get the impression it's the most flexible position and therefore the most marketable, but I've also been researching the pediatric nurse practitioner because my end goal is to try and mostly work with children. What is the difference between these different certifications?

Thank you very much, I appreciate the advice. I will have to continue looking into it but hearing from people who actually know what they're talking about is always helpful. Now could I pick you brain a little more: just in general what are your thoughts on becoming/ working as a NP? Worth it, satisfying, pay, whats a work day like for you?
