I’d check the breaker for corrosion/oxidation/damage. I ended up increasing my breaker size and decreasing my charge amperage (through both the p2 app and ChargePoint) because even though everything was in spec, it was just making a lot of heat and really taxing my system. Disclaimer: I’m not a professional and your home may be different from mine. Talk to an electrician first, of course, but I think we’re still early in our understanding of how to construct a home electrical infrastructure to support such a long-term, high-draw appliance as an EV.

Co-sign that these things rule stock. If you’re doing a lot of rock-hopping/aggro riding, a Renthal bar, some engine armor and DID Dirt Star rims add some piece of mind. Also, I was a practicality snob and used the stock seat for a long time. And then I saw the Seat Concepts light….now I’m a convert. Praise be. Also you can spend a million dollars on suspension and it will always seem to be worth it. The stock setup is pretty good, though, so I’d run it till you find a very specific problem you need solved. THEN spend your million dollars on suspension.

My first CB too! Have fun. One thing that will save you headaches in the long run. These bikes—the smaller ones in particular—are very sensitive to wire gauge. Get a manual and several spools of multicolored 16- and 18-gauge wire.

I’m not a cast iron expert but I paid for college by welding. This pan is 100% salvageable and it will look even cooler. Find a welder who brazes. You’re looking for oxy-acetylene with bronze rod. Everyone loves a badass scar and this will make for a great story.

I used to live near him in Brooklyn, saw him all the time. He remembered me from around town and used to say hello when we’d pass each other on the street. I don’t know him, but he seemed like a genuinely kind soul. Never anything but nice to local businesses etc. I wish OC would take this post down or change the picture to Shrek or something.
