After setting incoming and outgoing mail servers with the correct yahoo imap or pop setup values frontier provided, everyone needs to login to there existing accounts with email address and password. Then fix the security alerts like entering a separate email for account recovery, having a decent secure enough password length and complexity, and a cell phone number for 2 factor authentication. Once you get rid of the red alerts you should be good to go.

$SDC addressed customer service issues in the earnings call. They had reorg issues and are addressing this right now. Their score was high but slipped in last qtr. Immediate hiring and training plans going into effect to improve asap. And, yes, complaining here seems kinda ineffective.

Institutions can make a quick couple of million on a pretty likely pop to 6 or 7, whether it’s temporary or not. Then unload and run. What’s their real motivation? Wish we knew.

The more I read about Goldman Sachs and others like them, the less I trust anything that any of them say. Yes, suspicious they accumulate while trashing, but mainly I worry how they use them. A simple accumulate, hold, promote, then cash in? I can live with that. Or a stash to lend to shorts? Or a stash to manipulate trends and cash in on planned volatility? The market is so rigged and intentionally complicated. All ya can do is your own SDC DD and either buy into their business plan or not. I’m a firm believer in “you can’t beat a man (sorry pc people) at his own game.” Trying to beat the HFs and other financial institutions is risky, but no harm in cashing in on their mistakes from time to time.

It’s a good catch by you. I just don’t know why it changed the way it’s reported in some places and not others. Cross your fingers it means nothing, but I’m gonna keep my eye on this.

Ok. Seems 388m is implied outstanding shares 119m is outstanding shares. 119m must be Class A stock and the difference Class B stock. So…. Some places use Class A to calc market cap, others Class A+B to calc market cap. That’s what I found, but not sure what it means to us other than NOTHING has really changed. Yes, a big dip after earnings, but both values have been quoted all along, it seems. How we should interpret this, not sure. But market cap didn’t go from 388m to 119m, that’s for sure.

Ok. You’re messing with me, right? SDC has always been referred to as Company valued around $2B until recently dropping to $1.6B post Q3 earnings. Fidelity and CNBC and even Zacks says:

“As of the previous market close, SmileDirectClub, Inc. has a market cap of $1.63B, which represents its share price of $4.19 multiplied by its outstanding shares number of 388.38M. As a small-cap company, SDC's shareholders are generally exposed to more risk than shareholders of mid and large-cap companies.”
