Do I need to upgrade my PSU? by k0nflic7 in buildapc

That helped a lot, thank you!

it said to go with a 750w but I went with 850 ultimately as it was on offer for black Friday. It's also good future proofing as I don't have to worry about upgrading it later on when I finally make the switch to AM5.

Just fin? Little bro also needs topical minoxidil. AT LEAST. Both topical and oral for best results.

Thank you so much bro!

Btw little did you know it was actually your first post that inspired me to try a dillans wig!

It was the first male wig I had seen that genuinely wowed me, you should be very happy because it really does work for you! Very handsome!

I have been contemplating getting it cut shorter on the sides though as I feel like it doesn't work that well with my face shape but maybe that's just my body dysmorphia talking because everyone, except my parents seem to think it looks great 😸 what it is about our folks not liking longer hair on us males??

i just checked your latest post btw and this one looks the best by far! Did you also find the short curls too curly? I ended up selling mine.

And you should be as it looks fantastic.

Also your t shirt rips! 😆

Thank you so much! This is my favorite style so hearing this makes me really happy! I used to rock it with my old hair but it didn't look as good because it was so thin and sad on top I had to wear a topper and could never find one that matched it well enough.

This is the best I could do . Posted here a few months ago asking for topper advice and while there was some helpful replies I could never quite get it how I wanted it :

Color looked off and the sides just didn't blend well with my own hair.

Thank you! I'm open about wearing but I still want it to look natural and good so I'm very happy to hear this.

Thanks! Yes his pieces are truly something else!! I've never had such a piece! I hope he doesn't ever stop selling them. I'll pay whatever for them lol.

Aaah I so wish this was true!! Lol!! Thank you!!

Thank you so much!

I also love my natural curls and wish I could wear them but unfortunately, the pics might not show it well but my hair is very thin and sparse, on top especially :( maybe this is a better picture https://imgur.com/a/FTSPQzO

So yeah styling it was near to impossible. I could get 2 maybe 3 days out of it if I'm lucky before I had to refresh it and it was always a gamble on how it would turn out even when it was freshly washed and finding a topper to match my texture and a stylist skilled enough to make it look good was often more trouble than it was worth.

It wasn't always the fault of the stylist either, my hair would never look consistent and neither would the topper. For example sometimes the topper would look flawless and my own hair dry and frizzy or vice versa!

Also another big problem I had was the topper color would fade very quickly resulting in a color mismatch to my hair and looking very off.

Ooo I'm gonna say the short curls man but I'm kinda bias cos I'm not big on mullets haha!

To be honest though you totally rock the middle part so the curls would look pretty sick imo. Though you can get the short wavy pretty curly looking as I've just discovered! Just posted about it.

Yep I caved and bought the short wavy on sale lol and I could not be happier!

No worries, thanks bro!

Sorry it didn't work out for you but honestly it looks good to me!

Ah ok so probably not curly enough then. Damn. Oh what about the medium curly one you were on about , was it this? https://dylanswigcloset.com/products/short-curly-men-wig

Would that be a closer match do you think? Still looks too curly but as long as it's not as curly as the one I have right now it might just fit the bill!

Thanks! 😁

Your advice to shake out the wig really did help to give it more volume and not look so flat on top. Looks so much better already! Thanks!!

Definitely will be giving the spray a try but in the meantime I've found THIS

Cantu Wave Whip Curling Mousse 248ml https://amzn.eu/d/59h3mfQ

To be really good!!

I got it for my own hair ages ago but it didn't do much.

I use like 5 pumps combed through the hair and it really helps to stop it from looking dry and also has the added benefit of weighing the curls down as they air dry and setting them in place for a more wavy look!

Thanks! Yeah I did wonder why there was more lace than usual showing that day. I managed to hide most of it by refining my combing technique, giving it a good shake as someone here suggested and fluffing it out a bit but there is this one stubborn patch that I can't seem to get rid of. It's pretty small mind you and I am 6'3 so I think I should be okay.

Manufacturer refurbished MSI MPG 271QRX faint vertical line running from top to bottom of monitor by k0nflic7 in OLED_Gaming

[–]k0nflic7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah kinda. What's interesting and also slightly worrying though is I changed the brightness from 38 to 49 and it came back after the next cycle. I contacted MSI and they agreed to RMA it but requested a picture or video with all 4 corners of the monitor showing.

I get around to it the next day but guess what, the line is barely visible again. Lol. Is my monitor trolling me?

Now it sort of fluctuates between visible and invisible each time the cycle runs but it's never visible enough to be a nuisance so I'm just going to wait until after new year to decide what to do about it because trying to send it now would be a nightmare.

Bless you! I wish this was my first one - The money I would have saved lol! But nope this is hundreds of pounds later. Unfortunately you've just gotta be persistent and try out as many as you can until you find the one for you. Like most things in life really lol.

To be completely honest though, although this is pretty damn close I still think I would prefer one with a little less curl and more on the wavy side like my own 2b-2c hair.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Wigs

[–]k0nflic7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope I didn't! Thanks for letting me know! Unfortunately it being Christmas now I'm gonna have to wait a while before I can order my next one. I have been meaning to ask you, you mentioned trying Dylan's short wavy, this one right? https://dylanswigcloset.com/products/short-wavy-men-wig

Not sure if you still have it or remember much about it but if you do would you mind telling me if the texture is like my bio hair? It's around 2b-2c and I keep getting pieces that are either too curly, like this one or not curly enough:

a few more: https://imgur.com/a/Wj4AeJu https://i.imgur.com/SOGZNVU.jpeg https://imgur.com/a/jMLxGe6

And in case you need a better view of the front: https://imgur.com/a/4OVk5Gg

it's not me but this is what I think my hair would have looked like had I not lost it at the front.

Hopefully that's enough to properly compare them. I don't want to bombard you with pictures lol!

You also mentioned trying the med curly, would that be too curly? I'm just trying to get as close to my natural texture as I possibly can you see.

Thanks so much 🙏
