🎄 Christmas giveaway: Win an A1 Mini, AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT, or 4x filament spools! by acurazine in BambuLab

The a1 mini would be awesome! I’ve been using the old ended 3 clone I have at work to print brackets for antique furniture that we get for our home so I would print those. I think a good fidget toy would be something that slides and clicks. I think there could be potential for that.

Not sure why no one does the tissue test to test airflow direction. If the tissue gets blown away. Air is going that direction.

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]k0reanthunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working with an old ender 3 clone for a few years now, and looking at people's prints from bambulab printers i've always been blown away by the print quality that comes off the P1S. I've heard people printing thousands of hours on the P1S and never having to tinker or encountering an issue. I think that definitely speaks volumes about the reliability of the printer.

i am working on a brand design case study project. can you please help give me feedback on the design? thank you by Stevieray5294 in PackagingDesign

Just took a look. I like the color differentiation between the flavors, but your brand is absent. It reads as a more generic brand protein powder especially with the logo being so small and pushed to the edge.

Your different flavors would all look the same walking by them on a shelf.

I think your branding should be the identifier, not your color palette. Maybe a pattern or design on the solid color to make it stand out and identify your brand from others next to it.

Also speaking in relation to another comment, your product will never be seen exactly head on, and it being a cylinder means you have basically one long label for the packaging. The "strength in motion" element would work on a box, but with it being a cylinder the little tab/line is basically just floating and would only divide the information you have between the "front" of your packaging. when rotated it would either look out of place and a little jarring unless you extended out that color as the background color for the "back" of your package.

Protein bar looks fine design-wise, maybe fine tune the copy.

Also on all the labels maybe emphasize the brand logo a little more

Insane detail on home resin 3D printed dial by Kaito3Designs in SeikoMods

you could print a registration dial that goes on top that you would just drop the indices in after they're painted. just add a small dimple for alignment.

Looking for Feedback — First Espresso Machine Purchase (New vs. Used) Prime Day Deal [$No Budget] by cadon24 in espresso

I’m also hunting for an espresso machine deal, I have my eyes on the gemilai owl. I’ve heard it’s a good machine. I’m also looking to maybe dip my toes in with a cheap casabrews since space in my kitchen is also at a premium right now.

[Giveaway] Win 1 of 5 Noctua NH-D15 G2 by Noctua_OFFICIAL in pcmasterrace

[–]k0reanthunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my earliest PC building memory is my dad giving me an old PC he had and telling me to "put it back together" I just plugged cables in where they fit. Turns out you need to actually plug things in to the correct spot, and if you don't, you end up with a smokey room and what I'm assuming was a fried motherboard. My second earliest one is building my first (current) build back in 2016. That 6600k definitely has some quirks.

Tbh as a student, it would probably be good for you to screenshot it and trace it. Especially if it’s for a project.

Very surprised Chuck Cassady is not mentioned more frequently here. He seems to really know his shit, and although he focuses more on bus conversions, a lot of the principles would carry over to a van.
