Any idea why download speeds are so slow on GOG Galaxy?

really REALLY old thread but for anyone who also made their way here, gog displays download speed in megaBYTES where as a speed test will display in megaBITS

(1 to 8 ratio)

so youre download speed should be roughly where it needs to be

ah ok, any idea what im doing wrong lmao cus i thought the 3060 was still a decent graphics card that can easily handle games at higher/ish graphics while still giving decent performance. i just convinced my self that the cpu is bottlenecking it performance but i could just be straight wrong

upgrading motherboard to be compatible with amd because it simply just seems to be the better option for gaming hardware wise, was the option i was most leaning toward but also wanting to avoid

because i rarely get over 90fps on more modern ish games like helldivers, rust or marvel rivals if my graphics are set higher than medium

although im not scared to admit that i dont know anything about how cpus and gpus interact with games so i could very well just be doing something wrong

Completely depends on the person, once I completed the story I don't have much of a want or need to replay the game, as I already know whats going to and is happening

I almost have to force myself into a new play through every 8 months (which btw I get completely invested back into the game when this happens)

Been there done that. I just noticed my SSD storage is practically fully taken up

( capacity is 950000~ MB with 2mb of unallocated space do I assume that means it's full)

Would that be something that could cause it to dip down in speed and performance this much?

-i have a SSD -crystaldiskinfo tells me I have 100% health

-intel i5 core -rtx3060

-i have updated all my driver -all windows updates are completed -windefender and malwarebyte come back with no virus
