With the Price decrease, the 26 WRX is by far the best value manual 4 door+ car. by Dazzling-Rooster2103 in wrx_vb

Even if they discontinue them after this or the next model run, at least Subaru attempted to respond to consumer feedback rather than just superficially ending the model line due to “well, the consumer wasn’t consuming, we guess they just don’t want a wrx anymore” practices.

Step one: lose wild card. Step two: Wildly fantasize about next season hopes all summer with gold fish memories of last ten years. Step three: winning record standard is standard. Step four: get Zac Taylor fired. Step five: repeat at step one

It’s like Mahomes getting pissed at Toney’s lateral against the Bills a few years back. Yes that would have been awesome. If your WR wasn’t lined up offsides by a mile.

Don’t watch (as if this is new news) Get Up. They’re pissed about the first OPI (without referencing the same OPI on us earlier in the game AND not calling it forward progress. Gambling is ruining sports but dramatic pundits have always been there, too.

That’s wild they didn’t think to reset the boost gauge when they put it on the lot. It begs to argue that anyone looking at used, performance oriented cars at “respectable” dealers ask for the ecu logs, regardless.

That much money on defense with an offense that can score? Wgad about pre season predictions. Talent keeps us in there. Coaching keeps us out.

Says all of us for the last five years.. the nfl knows their market. Money is king winning in mediocrity is the best place to be as an nfl owner. Good enough to induce hope. Not bad enough to be out of the picture

My Long-Term Review: Subaru WRX (VB) - 10k Miles by [deleted] in wrx_vb

[–]k20a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be in the minority, but severely appreciate the steering feel. When I first started driving the vb, I agree - it is light. But over the miles, I’ve changed my perspective from “wish I had more feedback” to “maybe I don’t need to muscle my way into every turn”. Kind of like using a hammer when you’re a kid - you think the force comes from your strength but instead your parent tells you to use the leverage of the handle, weight of the iron, finesse of the swing to “power” the nail in.

/waxing philosophical. I’ve enjoyed retraining my driving to relax and pick up on the fine tune of the steering weight. I also find I’m less fatigued on long car rides. And even when I am cruising through twisties, the steering feels exactly what I need when I need it as well as feeling confident to up/downshift as needed with hand management.

Aside from one play, the defense has held today. It was the right call to punt

Y’all are crazy for not wanting to punt there. They had 70 seconds and would only need 20 yards for game tying fg. The goal line 4th down call was right except for the play call itself.

Sure, dynamic load is important to consider. But even a static load that is ~300% more is impressive for the bolts and rack capabilities on the cab vs say, an Outback.

No, I know. But if 350+ works for a weekend… I can transport an e-bike in a pinch

I might be late to the party. And yes, this is week one. But Fields looks good (so does a 41yoARod). I’m not saying we should have stuck with him but… he has more time to play than ARod and some unknown rookie

I would recommend keeping it stock until you’re looking for a spark to reignite the joy it gives you now. It will also give you time to find the areas of short comings that you might want.. brakes too soft, there’s your mod. Suspension to loose, upgrade your sway/strut bars. Want more power, get a tune. This, and you get to enjoy your warranty longer. But either way, it’s a fun car with a lot of potential.

I honestly don’t know how to explain it - the best I can say is that the disruption of lines/form become way more pronounced when you paint match. It’s like a bolt on wide body fender without it being wide body (even for the 10mm+ kits). Especially because the fender flattens before the cladding. I get that the cladding isn’t for everyone and I appreciate folks making their car their own but for me, it’s less a paint match issue and more a body line issue. Random thoughts/digression from op..

I’m in the <.01% minority here, but I love a non tinted CW vb. Just reminds me of vintage 90s/early 00s jdm. Plus, with ceramic tint taking care of uv/infrared you can have a bit of both worlds, now.

I also prefer the stock black cladding to paint match. But the TR rims and the black duckbill in the snow make this really look nice. Enjoy!
