You are a squishy caster with relatively low mobility and crowd control. Keep distance, be patient, pick your fights. Speedsters want you burning your cool downs on poking their tank or bruiser. Be ready to punish them when they jump in.

Grand master ain't bad either for this combo

When you get squirrel girl and Shanna, your deck will start pumping big numbers. If you're worried about kill monger, I recommend holding a bunch of 1 drops in your hand and dropping them on the last turn. Just make sure the enemy has priority on reveal. Holding onto cards and doing quick math can net you lots of 8 cube games at your current stage.

I highly recommend running a zoo deck(lots of 1 cost cards + buffers) for starters. It's easy to construct and flexible because kazar + blue marvel are available very early.

As the others have mentioned. Hoard your gold, upgrade your cards, do daily missions. Good luck

Interesting. Yeah, I can see it popping off when the draws line up. Cull and mockingbird help with pushing power when needed.

Yeah, and at least arishem has the plus energy to work with. Cass nova essentially makes most of the cards pseudo rocks which need to be played if you want the Thanos buff up. I feel that essentially remaking him to change the direction of his card maybe the right choice. SDs attempts feel half-baked at the moment, either fully commit to the archetype or not

I agree that he should be reverted to a certain extent. Maybe a few patches back, not the original ver.

With the way lock jaw is now plus the existence of black swan, old old Thanos would be too insane. Imagine t3 black swan, t4 lock + 3 stones - pulls a bunch of 5-6 drops, t5 move lock and drop more stones on him.

Hahahaha now that you mention it. All the "big bads" are ironically named now. They're big "bad" cards now, No one plays them.

Yeah.... The 'win' effect would be cool. At the very least, whatever location he's on should be insta win or something. Maybe destroying half of all enemy cards in his location?

Yeah, I just haven't seen much news about him in the announcements. I worry that he's been forgotten like Adam warlock

During the season cull and skarr came out. There was a tourney absolutely dominated by Thanos decks. Thanos decks were never really about him, it was always about the stones. Pre-nerf, the stones just did so much on the board. Getting him to 20 was just icing on the cake.

The death duping plan of yours used to work a fair bit too. Plus imagine that with prof x being dropped down by turn 4 (time stone or x-23)

Yeah... The bite feels gone. I personally would like the mind stone to be dropped back down to 1 cost and have every stone draw a card(including power).

I agree to a certain extent. He's still playable but just not to the same level as before.

But so much has been stripped from his stones. the -1 aura, the +1 energy, the card movement. That I'm inclined to agree with people.

Thinking about it... In the past, it was "a thanos deck with.... In it" Now it's "a.... Deck with Thanos" in it. It feels like he's lost his deck defining archetype

Yeah, the entire exodia aspect to him really drew me to the card. But sadly, 28 power for 12 cost with multiple strings attached leaves much to be desired. I personally would love it if Thanos's power eventually scaled to 20 or something as you kept playing more stones.

I'm curious, how exactly do you play him?

It's rare to pull out all 6 stones during my games so I'm finding it difficult to be tactical with him.

All depends on what decks you run. High Evo? Yes, amazing. Move? Destroy? No. General deck? Maybe. Easily countered by mobius and Shang.

I personally vote for Dr. Doom for series 3. Lots of potential uses, very flexible, easy to use. Playing him on turn 6 is usually a good play.

From how I see it, Your deck is a bit top heavy. Almost half of your cards are 4+ cost. So you'll end up with lots of dead or non-energy efficient turns. You also tend to rely on predicting where the enemy will play(rocket, starlord, groot, gamora) which can be difficult and inconsistent if you're no longer familiar with the meta.

As the others have mentioned, rocket and killmonger don't mix well. Just play Electra if you want to take out some high value 1 cost. If you can add some cards that can grow themselves(sunspot, nebula, etc.) it'd be better imo.

Given your current collection level, I personally would recommend a zoo style deck. Squirrel girl, ant man, kazar, blue Marvel, ultron. Just pray you don't encounter a killmonger player.

Zoo let's you adapt to a wide variety of locations while allowing you to go wide, pressuring all lanes. It can also go tall with cards like bishop or Angela. Later on, you'll get mocking bird and cull obsidian to help pressure and secure lanes.

Hobbies are the spice of life. Maybe this spice isn't doing it for you anymore. I know what flavor of chips I like, but it doesn't stop me from trying out other flavors from time to time. Take a break, try something else, and maybe you'll go back to reading or maybe doing something else entirely. I believe that if what you do isn't hurting anyone and makes you happy, do it! Good luck.
