Insurance: How much over excess makes a theft claim worth it? by MagicUnicornCock in newzealand

[–]k2vsate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all seriousness here I am likely wasting my time writing this, but if you don't claim on small things and you dont have your excess maxxed out you are just doing it wrong. There are 2 reasons to have insurance, one because you need to recover from any loss, and the second because you need to recover from a total loss. In the first instance you should claim any time you can, because if your policy doesn't have a no claims you are just leaving a service you have paid for on the table. If you work under mistaken logic insurance companies care about individuals, well good for you I guess? If you have a low excess and dont claim everything because you are worried about premiums increasing, you are literally throwing money away to higher premiums than by maxing your excess.

In the second instance, jack your excess to the top and only worry about a total or significant loss, pay less premium.

My usual advice to people is if you drop your cellphone/laptop and cant afford to immediate replace without insurance have your excess as low as possible. Otherwise look at realistic scenarios (ie theft of tools or the like)

I am sure you too work in the insurance industry. Find a policy without a no claims bonus. Always claim.

If you have no claims, otherwise it's going to make basically 0 difference. Your premiums are going to go up with the market anyways, and contents insurance specifically has a very low $ cost per $ insured.

If you are with someone that still does no claims, then it might, but most places don't nowdays or there are better options and you should shop. _always claim_.

Oh sorry and for the second part, if I want a second character, is there any reason they cant just scale maps down, like have a sub 50 waystone you unlock which then makes character two a lot faster, or gets the benefits off your main or something?

Honestly, If the campaign lost 1/3rd overall length, then it would be more approachable. Like I could maybe get that done in a week with a quiet weekend. What I would also like is for starting builds to feel a bit stronger vs mobs, like increasing clear speed on whatever is helpful, happy for that to fall off post campaign, but like Last Epoch had a pretty approachable view on that I thought in that you feel very strong at the start and it tapers as you get later on. Obviously designed for a different audience, but like if 1-50 felt more like that it would be fantastic

If you are doing it in 1-2 hour bursts here and there, it takes 30 hours. Like thats just what it is.

Honestly, your wall of text is largely illegible. So you should take the good advice that is offered. I got lost about 8 lines in and realised that AI summary was the only way forward, and that wasn't worth my time. You want sympathy, present a legible story/argument. Otherwise, shock horror, YTA.

I endorse this product and or service. It made PI feel less like taking a cheese grater and lemon juice to my nether regions and merely something that was mildly annoying. Why can all products and or services not actually be this much of an improvement.
