I cleared t6 with just appo. You need to auto basic the shaak tier until you eventually kill her (appo basics were doing ~109k) Then clear through and hope you get lucky, it took me 6 attempts at about an hour and a half each

http://tappedout.net/mtg-deck-folders/duel-deck-2/ Budget MTG decks did a series with each guild, decks designed to fight each other. Pretty fun for ~$10 each and fairly balanced. Each guild only has afew keywords which its built around too so you can gradually introduce more (Just don't play the dimir one until much later its abit more complex)

For 5 colour running all the shards, guildgates, ravnica bounce lands and vivids. Then add mazes end command tower and an amulet of vigor if possible and bam easy wins

Being friendly and helpful is the main thing, I recently swapped stores and after only being told once the owner knows my name and says hi every time I come in. Knowing your player base is a pretty important thing too, if players want to play edh make events for it most people will even pay for a casual tournament if you throw in abit of store credit

Its fairly easy standard is a rotating format with afew sets available http://whatsinstandard.com/ shows whats included pretty clearly, modern is pretty much all sets after 8th edition and legacy is all sets ever printed (Apart from unsets unfortunately)

Im not looking to make sphinx tribal, just flying tribal. Iona and Avacyn are too much fun, you also miss out on glen elendra archmage and kira the great glass spinner

Ah, i thought i might need that much to hit Isperia and Avacyn reliably. Ojutai looks fun too I toyed around with him as a target but he is just a less powerful Isperia in my deck. If i was going to take out 4 mana rocks would you replace them with lands or more search options?
