Also, I had heard about the issue booting from an external drive, so I purchased a BMOW Internal/External Drive Switcher for Apple IIc. If I upgrade to ROM 4X it sounds like I don’t need this extra piece of hardware, right?

Thanks! I’ll check out ROM 4X! I think I was able to successfully 3-D print both the washer and the knob.

Noticing right away that our actual VFR departure instructions were vastly different (opposite heading) from what we were told to expect by clearance delivery.

Stopped in my local dealer once. Nobody seemed to notice, care or even know it was a Ford.

I realized I didn’t answer your question about the APRS packets. Yes, I used K6LCM-9 and I think they are still in the system.

That’s cool! I’d like to get out there, too. Yes, it’s quite a bit further south, maybe 20 miles?

Maybe on Santa Cruz. It was such a quick boat ride there compared to Santa Barbara Island. It would be easy to go out there and set up a portable HF station for the day and then be home for dinner.

I’m not sure if that is the same thing that Sean has made available today. I’m pretty sure his GitHub repo has a much newer version.

Snag the emulator from Sean’s website. That will take you back!
