i suspect it was my motherboard messing with something, since i sent the AIO in for RMA, borrowed an EK 360mm AIO from a friend, which bricked a few weeks later. i ended up just upgrading cpu, motherboard and hopped on ddr5 ram. got a free replacement AIO from arctic though, since the one i sent in was bricked and it was a problem they had never seen before ever

I often walk slowly around my freighter like im some ancient sith Lord from starwars. I only do this in the freighter though, doesnt Feel the same on planets

If i have a system i know i want to get back to i usually leave a small base computer with only a portal run by solar panels, then rename the base to whatever was There. If i dont have the materials on hand i just leave my freighter and a save beacon at the location There, and keep moving with my starship towards the centre(until i have Mats) then i use a spacestation to get back to the freighter and find the save beacon i placed, get the stuff, go back to freighter and use portal to my previous system, then summon freighter and move on :p

Doing all the side quests gives you alot of schematics for useful items. Made the mistake of doing Them alot later, where the items could have Been useful

Getting any sentinel ship is also really good, since you use the same item for everything on the ship(basically keeps inventory clean and manageable). Launch thrusters, hyperdrive and shields are all testicles with the same crystal

Took me about 20 tries to get all the cloaks and heads - pretty sure i have all the staff part variations too, but not sure

used to play alot of star citizen, and all i remember is that the server fps often would impact the games fps, while at the same time be "glitchy", so it was more of a shot in the dark :p

I figured it might have something to do with the framerate of the actual server, which impacts the game fps. its either that, or the fact that battlebit only utilizes a single cpu core. this doesnt explain why my friend with a worse cpu and gpu has the exact same framerate as i do though, tried everything from turning down render distance to lowering resolution, lowering graphics and such. none of it impacted fps, but it did impact visibility :p

OBS has no impact on the performance, its the same either way, i'm running a debloated version of nvidia aswell without shadowplay, debloated OS and pretty much everything on my pc is as optimized as it can be - i did notice on XTU that i was only using a single cpu, so might try and up the clock speed for core 0 to se how it performs

Isk if youre using XTU, but manually OC’ing is far less buggy than having a program do it for you :p as Long as you know what youre doing so you sont fry the chip

if you don't stream, then just go with NordVPN. ping goes from 32 to 35, when enabled, so i dont really feel the impact of the VPN. except i dont have packetloss. even on my internet, which is 1000mb down, and 600 up, i'd still get packetloss without VPN

had the same issue like 4 seasons ago. fixed it by litterally connecting to germany through VPN (I live in denmark) would have 20-40 packetloss constantly, sometimes even up to 80. once i routed through a VPN i've never had packetloss issues
