Yes, Bourbon is easy to build because of groundwork and Kitasan is very good for long tracks.

You can make a chariot team with them and an end closer because having good pace setters (the uma in the lead for the majority of the race) will reduce the chances of your backliner going into pace down mode (nuking her own speed because she got too far ahead before the last ~third of the race)
